The last meet up went very well, so as some of you may know there is another one in the pipe line.
This time the plan is to have 2 good days in Blackpool as we didnt feel as if 1 day was long enough hehehehe..
Each year there is a giant international fireworks competion, every week starting from the 2nd of september a diffrent country will compete.
This will come to a climax on the 28th of September were the winning country is anounced and a final celebration display will takeplace,
we want to have the start of the meet up on the 28th of September so that we can all watch the closing event.
As well as this event, on the 31st of August, the Blackpool Illuminations are switched on so they will be on for the meet up.
time and place= We've decided that because most of us know were the Littentree pub is in Queens Street and as the fireworks display will be taking place off the North Pier that is close by to it that the ittentree should once again be the meet up place.
Once again for those who dont know, Blackpool is a well known coastal,tourist area in the North West of England that has many atractions from the famouse Blackpool Tower to Euroups tallest rollercoaster,and has many nightclubs pubs and restaurants as well as the famouse illuminated trams as Blackpool lights will be on.
The meet up is so that friends of the forums can meet up,but we welcome anyone else that would like to come along:)
MEET UP PLACE-TIME..
FRIDAY = we will meet in the Littentree pub on Queens Street at 5pm.
for those who wish to grab a bite to eat the Littentree serve food.
the fireworks display will beginn at 7:30pm but its better if we get there earlier so we can get a good place to watch them.
PLEASE NOTE=this is a weather permitted event, if it is raining or there are strong winds coming from the sea the event will not take place for safty reasons.
The event will finish about 9pm from there we can hit the pubs and clubs so come in your going out stuff if your brave because it gets cold!!! hehehehe.
SATURDAY = providing that everyone is not hungover hehehe we will meet up at about 11am again at the Littentree,we think its best that from there we all decide what we would all like to do wether its the pleasure beach or somethng else so that everyone is happy insted of me deciding what we will do and some of us being uncomfy with it.
What ever we decide to do we will depart from one and other at around 6pm so that we can all get ready to go out on the night..
Heres the fun part..
we have decided to spice things up that we will all meet up in fancy dress, what you dress up as is up to your selves, (please note that if you realy dont want to dress up then dont feel as if you have to.)
We will all meet backup in the Littentree and from there we will decide from there what pubs to visit, wether its Roxy's again or somewere else, we're not botherd just so long as we all enjoy our selves again..
SUN.we can meet up in the Littentree to say good-bye till the next meet up
