That aint no cocktail fellow!... that`s the whole entire bottle! ... Oh yes, I forgot, the whole bottle is filled with about 10 martinis ..... and 10 olives!
Can they make Real Martinis in Malta? ...... with the sugar round the rim, the correct ingredients, the Martini glass, etc etc?
... most barmen I`ve met had no clue. But then maybe that`s cause the types of joints I frequented weren`t into any sort of mixed drinks ..... just the beer/brandy/cheap whisky stuff...? They`d pour a bottle of Martini into a wine glass and plonk it down and I`d pour it on the counter and set fire to it and order a beer.
Some still do remember how to serve a proper cocktail, others just try to catch up by learning whilst drinking

and think the umbrella and straw make the drink called so
The problem's cocktails are not so much in vogue by the local clientele and the shaker can do several days on the shelf getting dusty.
Shooters are more in the trend!
