Labradors!

The most faithful of all dogs!

Long-haired white german shepherd

Like a big white fluffy footstool! A very similar dog the berger blanc, the swiss variety I'd also include.

Rhodesian Ridgeback

Scares off lions

Komondor

Like a dog rastafarian! Especially the black ones

Old English sheepdog

Great temperament full of energy always playing - the dulux dog!

Doberman pinscher

I think these are just brilliant dogs loyal and friendly and will kill anyone who ever attacks you - awww!

Rottweiler

The big softie, they have a ferocious reputation which i think is largely unfair they are very loving dogs and sometimes seem a bit dense but in an endearing way.

Rough Collie

Beautiful dogs great temperament they have a royal mane around them and stand out a mile. Unforgettable!

That's 8 that will do!

Yes the Australian Sheperds is a breed, although developed from Australian shepdogs in the US. Probably closely related to a lot of Australian breeds of sheepdog today.

All good dogs although i don't necessarily agree with the order. But the best dogs i've had have been mongrels from the pound. My last dog Jessica, a greyhound-german shepherd mix was the gentlest, most sweet natured dog anyone could ask for. So, if you want a true friend, go and rescue one from your local pound. There are loads to choose from and you won't regret it.

I can only come up with 3, not in any order really..pug, papillon and beagle. Wow perused the web, didn't know there were that many dog breeds. The peruvian hairless dog, though better looking than it's chinese crested hairless counterpart which by the way takes the award for both the ugliest and the goofiest looking breed, is about as endearing as a rat yet strangely because it's a dog, you almost want to knit a jumper for it..
