America's Boardwalks

Americas Boardwalks
Before theme parks and mega shopping malls, boardwalks provided a form of entertainment and nostalgia malls and theme parks have yet to reproduce. A combination of man-made attractions and natural resources (like the ocean) made for an experience uniquely charming and energetic. The lure landed Boardwalk on the Monopoly board, spawned food franchises, songs, and films and cemented the boardwalk firmly in history and pop culture.
