More About Me
I was born 9/11/90, on a small beet farm in Kentucky. Ma died in a butter churning accident when I was 8, so Pa had me work in the fields with him. I had a boring, labor-intensive childhood, so I left my small town to travel the world to help people. I spent 2 years teaching English at a monastery in Nepal, where I was trained in traditional Buddhist medicine and ice-climbing. I conquered Mt. Everest when I was 21 and celebrated with my first drink of champagne at the summit. I left Nepal and traveled to Africa to build orphanages and lead an anti-poaching team in the Congo for three months. From there I toured Europe and settled in Switzerland, where I trained intensively in luge and became a world class competitor. Recently, however, I moved to Ithaca, New York, to continue my academic pursuits at Cornell University.
