I love to write although it isn’t something I do particularly well and was certainly not always one of my passions; more akin to that of a despised requisite of a well-rounded education. I’m anywhere between 6.1 and 10+ feet tall depending on how much I have been drinking. I weight a steady 200ish pounds, have blond hair and blue eyes. I’m a mutt. German, Swedish, Scandinavian, Dutch… ‘Fido’ suits me better than ‘Jody’ although I could pass as a ‘Spike’ if I were to have the collar; I do look somewhat menacing at times. I grew up in Alaska, a little town called North Pole to be more precise. Yes, there is a North Pole and it comes complete with a Santa Claus house, reindeer in the back and a forty-something foot tall fat man with a white beard and a funny suit. I have an Alaskan accent, which is to say, absolutely none whatsoever. And sure, to answer some of my messages, you can go wrestle the polar bears anytime you want to! Those big, sweet and cuddly things… But watch the hell out for the penguins; you'll just be standing there and next thing you know, your arm is off… I quit high school after tenth grade, passed my GED and went to real schools. Most of my earlier career was spent in a cycle of attend a school and then turn around and teach at that very school as a senior instructor in the discipline I mastered, usually computer science. I have both a Doctoral and Masters from Bridgewater and numerous other awards from other institutions in Alaska and California. Some were traditional learning, some were challenged and some were the ubiquitous online types. Nowadays I just write.
