5 Must-Haves For Mr. Right

5 Must Haves For Mr Right

Dating is the important process of finding out if someone is right for you. Finding Mr. Right might not be easy, but he's out there. It's important to weed out the many Mr. Wrongs that you're likely to run into. The longer you keep them around, the longer it will take to find Mr. Right. This article outlines 5 must-haves that your Mr. Right should possess.

1. He must have a job

It doesn't matter what kind of job he has, but it's important that he has one. If he doesn't have one, why not? Does he think he's too good for a lot of jobs out there? Is he waiting for his dream job? Does he live with his mom and simply doesn't see the need to work? If he doesn't currently have a job, but is busy looking and networking, this is a good sign. It shows that he wants to be out there working. Maybe he has a job he's not really into, but he's also looking for a job he loves. That is an ambitious man and a quality of Mr. Right.

2. He must accept you the way you are

Any man who tries to change you into the woman he thinks you should be is not the man for you. It doesn't matter if he tries to change a little thing like the fact that you like a cup of coffee in the morning before you eat or a bigger thing like turning you from a night-owl to a morning person. If you're not into sports, he needs to accept that instead of attempting to force them on you. He doesn't have to love everything you do, but he does have to accept it. You are not his to mould. If he chooses to be with you, he chooses who you already are. If he needs someone who is a sports fanatic or wakes up early in the morning to jog, he needs to find a woman who is already into those things.

3. He must respect women

A man who respects women believes that women are equal to men, not beneath them. He does not believe that women should be subservient. He does not believe that a wife is the only person who cares for the household and the children. He doesn't believe that a man should sit around and be waited on as if he's a king with a servant. He is not a chauvinist in any way. Mr. Right is a true gentleman and does what he can to make his woman's life easier.

4. He must fight fairly

When you fight with your boyfriend does he hit you where it hurts? Does he bring up past mistakes? Does he call you names? These are signs of someone who does not fight fairly. Someone who fights fairly will never call you disgusting names. He will stay in the current fight without bringing up past arguments. Mr. Right never attempts to intimidate or threaten during a fight and he would never get physical in any way.

5. He must support your dreams

You are not a clone of anyone. You have your own hopes and dreams and goals for life. You should never give them up or be asked to. A man who doesn't support your dreams is someone you do not need in your life. You deserve encouragement and support for whatever you choose to do. If a man asks you to give up your dreams or seems to make it difficult for you to make time to achieve them, he is not Mr. Right. Mr. Right wants you to be happy. He might not understand all of your dreams, but seeing how happy it makes you to attempt them is enough for him.

Finding the perfect guy for you might not be a quick process, but when you know what to look for in Mr. Right it becomes easier. Start with this list and add on with your ideas about what your Mr. Right should be like.
