THE GREEN MONSTER CALLED JEALOUSY.....

So how many people have experienced this 'green monster' called Jealousy? And how many people have endured borderline psychotic behavior? Where does one draw the line?

I personally believe a little bit of jealousy is normal and healthy for a relationship. If there is no jealousy, I hardly believe there is real love. However, I have to say that being a little jealous gives no one the right to become psychotic, and self control is probably best.

I have seen some people do the most outrageous things, and most often relationships end when the green monster gets out of control or lingers too long.

I also believe that in a relationship partners should care enough about the other, and be sensitive to the one another's feelings. Perhaps it's best not to provoke the arising of the 'green monster'. There should be a balance and one cannot blame their partner for being insecure if one is chatting up the opposite sex all the time! What's up with that nonsense?

In all fairness even God is jealous of us, so how can you expect there to be no jealousy where true love abounds? Self control is 'key' though, and there is no point in forcing someone's love.

If someone is giving you TOO much reason to be jealous and doesn't consider your feelings: my advice (not that you asked for it ;P) is :

HIT THE ROAD!
Green monster over and out!
