I look at the sons of men; I see the spirit of God--Love, honesty, compassion etc. also, I see another spirit in him, the spirit of the Devil--Hate, Greed, oppression etc.
This other spirit (Devil) though a stranger in him, always tends to dominate, control and makes him to err to the detriment of the indigenous spirit of God in him.
Man has allowed the evil stranger to have full control of him thru drunkenness, Drugs and uncontrollable anger because he lacks the spirit of God. The bad habits he permits to dominate him has in the process, forced him to committed murder and other felonies, which landed in the court of law.
During his ordeal, he came to himself and rebuked the Devil as the spirit of God is admonishing him solely because he is in a state of remorse. He (Man) hates the situation and he is asking himself how he permits the devil to use him to act contrarily to himself—Spirit of God.
The spirit of Devil he allowed to manoeuvre him has no hold on him now in this state of regrets because the Devil realised that his victim is fully conscious of its activities in him.
He (Man) came out of the situation and vowed never to let it happen, but not long enough he found himself in a much more worst mess. So frustrated, he realised that he would never be able to defeat the evil spirit in him rather to yield to him and turns recidivist. He lack the relationship with his Maker, God, who wish he had call him and talk with him in order to excavate him out the chaos the devil had entangled him.
The spirit of God planted in man right from his formation, is slowly corrupting as he passes thru the life journey here on earth unless he kept a close contact with his creator.
Man has been raised to hate and to segregate himself in a society of a mixed ethnicity. Everywhere he turns, not without the presence of these other races he was taught as his enemies. Traumatised, he turned to his don or the society with a murder weapon to ease him of the evil spirit they gave him.
Man was innocent until he was reveal in this world. He was always smiling with everyone when his mother would carry him on her arm as a baby. Sometime I thought how meek and good-spirited man would have been if he was raised close to God previously.
Man has no other options than to yield to God for control and for protection. He is otherwise vulnerable to the will of the devil if he lacks communications with the spirit of God whose function is to enables him to resist the constant attempt by the spirit of the Devil to possess him. Man state of spiritual consciousness can be in great danger when his thoughts is always Evil—hatred, immorality, pride, wealth gained by oppression, Stealing, lack of sympathy for others etc
The spirit of God is very sensitive to anything that is not of him. Man would be inviting the evil spirit by the time he fills his heart with polluted thoughts and imaginations especially prior to his sleep, he is bound to be oppressed by the devil in an attempt to settle in him.
The Devil takes pleasure in the occupation of the heart of Man and destroyed him to mock God and say, "It think you said he was yours but he's given me the access to do to him whatever I want"
imagine almost everyone in the society is runs by the Evil spirit to do things contrary to the spirit of God; I'm Afraid we are already witnessing such a state of usurpation by the Devil to utilise Man in the very destruction of man—Uncontrollable immorality (extra-marital sex, drug, alcoholism, homosexuality) abortion, High rise in Crime rate, Lack of trust, Lack of love for others, Racism, Greed of money, Evil invention, filthy conversations, Family dispute, boast of wealth, self Glory, materialism, Idolatry (too much love for our vehicles, jewelleries, home), Human ideology.
Picture the hearts Men fills with these evils, where is a place for the spirit of God
