why the devastation of Revelations

Why?
Why is it that we are facing the devastation that Revelations say's we are heading for? Aren't we a nation of God loving people? Well that might be so but that just isn't good enough by God's standard's. You need to understand who make's the rule's here. You think we have the right to do what we please in this life, but you would be dead wrong. I have heard people say "My God excepts me as I am" meaning the way I celebrate Him, even if I use an old pagan holiday to honor Him and call it Christian (Christmas, Easter, etc.). WRONG. that is the most dangerous statement a human can make, it implies you believe in a false god, one that you designed in your own mind. and worse yet, you believe it.

The truth of the matter is the true God of the scripture's doesn't buy that for a second. And this is the main reason we will pay the price. But we know that most countries of the world have it wrong too. So why is it that we are singled out in Revelations to be punished. This is because God promised Jacob (Israel) that his seed would become the greatest, most powerful nation on earth and we could have remained so, if we would have kept God's laws instead of allowing ourselves to be influence by other corrupt and false teachings. We allowed people to read and interpret the scripture's for us and than never proved for ourselves that they were not adding or taking away from Gods word. A good example of this is the ever popular doing away with the Ten Commandments. Without a doubt this was our number one down fall. There are scripture after scripture by Jesus telling us that they are intact and you must follow them to be one of His, (Deuteronomy 5:29)

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever.

FOR EVER, do you see these words? It doesn't say for ever or until some church tells you they are done away. (1 John 2:3-4)

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

These verses are NEVER read in main stream church's in this country. And they can't be, why? Because if they kept the ten commandment's that would mean they would have to obey the Fourth Commandment which would throw a real wrench in their system, the fourth commandment tells us to "remember the sabbath day" (Exodus:20:8) and they don't .What they keep is the pagan Sabbath of the sun god. This is a matter of record. It is well known that the Catholic church changed the Sabbath and they admit it in there own writings. Remember this, Jesus was a JEW, He went to the temple on the Sabbath (Saturday) and the Jewish people still do. This is the real Sabbath day and that is only the beginning of the wrong's we have committed.

There are holiday's that we are commanded to follow such as the Feast of the Tabernacles and the Passover, that's right the Passover is for all God's people not just the Jew's. Jesus told the disciples to do this in his memory, Why would the Jew's do this in His memory, they don't believe He was the Lord. This day was set aside for our remembrance of him, but do you keep this day or the Last Great Day? have you ever heard of these day's? why not? their in your Bible. Oh that's right, you don't read the Bible, you let someone else do it for you. But than we don't even read the instruction's to our kid's toy's do we? We as a nation have put our fate in the hands of someone else and that someone else is Satan. You opened that door for him when you let someone else do what you should have done. We are a nation of lazy" I want it my way" children. You don't realize what a great meta fore Willy Wanka is for the people of this country. Kids running around out of control like this generation does now and God's attitude now is the same "Don't..... stop.....come back" in that sarcastic tone that Gene Wilder did so well, knowing were not listening. Is it to late? Believe it or not no it isn't. Well it's possible but not probable when you consider that the entire nation of the United State's would have to change it's Christian behavior. Think about it, we would all have to do away with Sunday Sabbath, keep the Saturday Sabbath, do away with Christmas, do away with Easter, birthday's, Halloween. Repent, be baptized (full submersion) and love your fellow man as you love yourself. Two hundred and fifty million of us, what are the odd's?
