"Whose Thought is My Thought?"

To conceptualize an idea… to even cognize of the subject… all one need to do, is think thereupon it. Thinking is holding the light of the consciousness upon the subject of the thinking. Concentration is the ‘steady holding’ of that light of consciousness upon the subject of the thinking. Some lights of consciousness are brighter than others. And the ability of each individual to hold their attention upon any one subject is as diverse as there are stars in our galaxy. This does not make any one human better or worse than another human, in reference to their relationship to one another as a whole. However, this does cause a mental obstacle within the thought process of the thinking mind, when one seeks to see and/or know what dwells within the peripheral experience of the thought.

When man (humankind) looks at something they are projecting the light of consciousness upon what they are looking at; whether that sight is taking place within/from the thought, emotion, and/or the physical senses. With that said, it is difficult to gain any modicum of insight into a subject if the light of consciousness within the concentration is lesser than the darkness that surrounds the peripheral sight of experience that the thinking mind bears witness to.

Imagine holding a flashlight in a pitch black room. Just because you are holding the flashlight does not mean you will be able to see into/through the darkness. The Flashlight must be turned on that the light may shine forth from its source. The source in this descriptive is the batteries that power the light bulb(s) that produces the light. Many people live their lives holding the flashlight of reason without ever turning it on, and not understanding why they still feel as if they cannot see into/through the darkness that surrounds them. And for those who have learned how to turn it on, it may be a weaker light than someone else, whose batteries are stronger.

In this analogy, the batteries are the persons will and desire; and the light bulb(s) is/are the intent to see clearly into/through the darkness. The darkness is what is not understood about the subject one is thinking about. The projection of the light is the thought itself: that light of consciousness being directed and/or redirected by the Soul, through the flashlight; the flashlight being the brain and nervous-system of/within the human body. There are many types of flashlights varying in size and density. Humans are in fact all unique sentient beings with the potential to be greater than they have ever been. Sometimes their Lights are bright and their desire and will is very strong, yet the light produced is weak for it shines through a lens covered by dirt, grime, and residue from not being cleaned. The lens of the flashlight in this analogy is interpretation.

We can have a bright light coming from a strong source, yet still produce a weak projection of thought due to a flaw in how we are interpreting what we think to be experiencing. Another way of understanding this is look at anything around you. What you actually see is not the direct effects from what you are looking at. In other words 99% of all that you actually think to be seeing is taking place within your peripheral sight. Your actual sight comes to a very small pin-point place, wherever you are looking. All that you are mentally taking in through your sight is taking place through ‘peripheral vision’. For this I refer to it as ‘peripheral understanding’.

Let us now briefly think about faith, and what it means to ‘have faith in’ something. Traditionally to have faith in something means to accept it through the presence of doubt; whilst there is no direct proof of what you are having faith in… actually happening or existing. If you tell me that you are going to meet with me at the park at a specific time and I accept what you said as truth then I would have to have faith that you would show up if I were to go there to meet you, at that pre-specified time and place. This type of faith is a conscious faith and can only take place if there is any doubt present within the mind and heart of the person. Then there is another type of faith called ‘blind faith’. It is the type of faith that takes place within/upon a sub-conscious level. An example of ‘blind faith’ is when you go to sit upon a chair, thinking it will hold you and your weight without consciously thinking about it. There is a thinking taking place about it, it’s just that most individuals are not aware of their sub-conscious thoughts.

Faith for me is the evidence of non-belief. If I must have faith in something then I do not believe in ‘the something’ I am having faith in: hence why I must have faith in it. If I actually believed 100% without there being any presence of doubt present within the thinking and/or presumed knowing, then I would have no need for faith in that something.

Very few humans, though, walk with an awareness of actually knowing. Most of the time, they are riddled with an unsurety of things they truly do not understand. They rely solely upon what they have been taught through generations of traditional belief systems that have become known to the majority of humanity’s populous as common sense. Even though I know this about the history of humankind, and the psychological development of the human species, I still choose to take issue with what many claim to be common-sense. For I personally do not believe that what is claimed to be the common sense for the majority is as common as it is made to appear.

Nevertheless without digressing too far, please allow me to bring your attention back to the flashlight. Imagine now that you understand my analogy of the flashlight and how it is a picture of humankind individually and collectively. Let us take that understanding and look at the word ‘peripheral’. The word peripheral comes from the word ‘periphery’ which means: the external boundary of any surface or area (though there are a few other definitions as well for this word, I am only concerned with the definition I gave). That external boundary of any surface or area is what you are seeing when you direct your eyesight into any direction onto any imparticular noun (person, place, and/or thing).

Another way of saying it is it is what you see within your line of sight without looking directly at it. Now apply this understanding to thoughts, emotions, and our periphery experience of them. Humans are taught –for the most part- to go after what they want with an unbridled passion, whilst treating others how they want to be treated along the way. However, what they are not being taught is that in order to do this effectively is to never truly go after the goal itself; rather go after the residuals (peripherals) of the goal. In other words let’s say you want to be a dancer and becoming a dancer is your goal. Then, you become a dancer and you reach your goal. Now however, you find yourself in a position where you are neither happy nor satisfied with reaching the goal of becoming a dancer…that you once thought would satisfy you. The reason for this unhappiness and lack of feeling fulfilled is you went after the small pin-pointed place of what you had directed your line of sight/thought. When in reality where the fullness of your human experience dwells exists within everything that is outside of that pin-pointed place-goal-direction of thought: The Peripheral reality. So in essence, it would behoove you to go after what needs, desires, feelings, thoughts, and /or emotions that the ‘peripheral experiences’ produces/brings from within you…to you, and make that your peripheral-focus without ever making that your direct line-of-sight goal. It is the indirect approach to a direct experience of manifesting the something of whatever it is you are wanting.

With all that has been said, I now look at what is called planet earth and make a decision as to whether or not I have any relationship to that planet: individually or collectively through humanity. If I accept what science claims of humans and this planet called earth then I could presume that there is some relationship between being human and dwelling upon said planet. However, I reject what science claims as a fact for my own sense of reality for I must fully experience something before I can claim that something as having any true validity for me within my own mind and heart; otherwise I would be spending most of mine existence having to have faith in everything I ever heard or thought to understand. And this would imprison my sense of self into a projection of hypothesis and postulations without any direct experiential proofs of the claim.

Do humans live on planet earth? I am told that they do. I have not seen or experienced proof of this. Does the planet earth float in empty space? I have been told it does. Yet, I reject the notion as I have not personally witnessed this with the whole of my senses. I choose to live my life according to what I actually believe, wherein ‘faith in something’ is not required for insight, knowledge, and/or understanding to occur.

If it is true that all we can ever experience dwells within what we can actually see, hear, taste, touch, and/or smell then how could I ever experience any type of understanding of that which exists beyond the parameters of what my peripheral experience can ever take in to be cognized. Simply said, I could not. Therefore, the whole idea of the planet floating in something called space is beyond what I have ever witnessed nor understood the substance of: as if to think that something unseen was something defined as being nothing.

If however, my peripheral sight and peripheral experience was greater than a 180 degree line-of-sight and understanding, then I might actually be able to cognize the dark side of the moon: or the unseen side of me; or the substance that makes up what is called space, which the planet allegedly floats within. If I accept that humans live upon a planet and that I myself am a human then I would seek understanding in what exists beyond said planet. However I have no experiential knowledge of being human, or living upon any planet.

I therefore conclude that until I myself can testify to you by the direct experience of such peripheral knowledge, experience, and/or understanding I deny the idea as a delusion of fanciful imagination. I was even recently told that the planet earth was round: how absurd is that notion~! Next, someone will claim that we as a people are truly awake, abandoned as a species, and not the projected dreams of the gods whom lay sleeping. Where the hell is my flashlight!?

this is brilliant~! made me connect your thinking back to the Matrix~~ i think it's time i experienced what Neo has experienced after he was shot dead by the Agent... that really HAS to be the ultimate flashlight, right?
