iam 69. been dating 3 years. i have NO trouble getting young girls to talk about dating in a serous way. i know your going to say they just want my money. after a while i can see those easy. even before the subject of money comes up. most of the girls in there 20-30 say they cant find a good man there age. one girl 30 ish . have talking to about 2 years. says if she cant have me she wants NO one eles. we have never meet. and i am sure she would be a great wife. i NEVER thought that so many in that age range could be / would be serous about a man my age. when i started dating i didnt think the side benefit would be reg friends.

I have met some women personally, unfortunately, was not the right one, but I become skeptical when a woman says to me, she loves me and has not seen me, just picture, then comes the famous question of the meeting, and here should I then pay the trip, because it should be normal that the man pays, unfortunately I do not see it that way and I think here's something wrong, that a good woman does not ask for money for a meeting, women also have an honor, if I then still want to show my virtual reality and with life video talk question, the ladies have not, weird, I think, so you should check everything, who has what to hide, which is not always honest, but I hope one thing to find a good wife, where everything fits and can be a good life, good for everyone

Good points, but I would like to state that marriage and exes have both been brought up on first dates by my dates never by me. One guy even asked what kind of wedding I want say what? So it goes both ways.I disagree with asking about important things later. I'm not saying that all important things should be discussed in the beginning, just the key topics. No point in seeing someone for long only to realize you both aren't even on the same page with regard to some things. I don't want to waste my time.

Oh yes ... here are unfortunately many scammers ... (black hair and black eyes) ... ??yeah ... but in the picture they are blond, gray haired or bald. And the lyrics are mostly copy and paste .... oh yes and they like to travel
But even non-scammers here on CS are not easy.
The first contact goes well ... you exchange "inconsequential".
Then days later, phone numbers for whatsapp or hangout are exchanged. (Suddenly you can see the phone number is from Michigan but he supposedly lives in Plainfield Indiana.) Thank goodness the voice and the videochat is real, you write every day and on the day you even create a video chat and a phone call.??
But from now on, he does not write anymore. Even spontaneous calls or selfies are no longer there. The last thing he wrote was ... I'm fine and i miss you.
He does not answer calls or does not answer messages ...
With the help of a good friend (sheriff ...) we found out with our information and pictures that he has a solid relationship for many years ..... so probably little time but supposedly much to do at work.
That was an American man .... no scammer.
(This kind of playing i think synonymous unserious).

Uhhh, well...here’s the thing, I don’t see how a person could EVER fall “in-love” with a person whom they’ve never met face-to-face and actually spent a significant amount of time with in-order to actually develop true feelings of love and not just a surge of chemicals being released in your brain due to this fantasy person you’ve concocted. Ladies and gentlemen, keep your feelings at-bay until you’ve actually met the person and have actually gone on at least a few real dates lol. Anyone asking for something like money is an automatic call-them-out and end contact for me...put your feelings aside and think with your brain analytically, no need to contact authorities because scammers are like roaches, they are impossible to get rid of, so don’t get yourself worked up over something that cannot truly be created in cyber space (love). Just keep your senses about you and be smart, there should NEVER be a time when a person is scammed online by anyone as long as you’re smart and don’t allow your emotions to rule you, learn to master your emotions before you decide to pursue dating ANYONE :p

Most people online are come just to have fun.. There is nothing wrong in it until their fun lead others to pain.. There is no meaning of complaining.. If you can't prove anything criminal offense or illegal against someone whether it's been done online or even in real world; you can't punish him or get any compensation..So better just watch your back rather than complaining..

Good post. I think the most important thing is to remember to follow it. It brings to mind the quote that, when you are up to your arse in alligators, it is often difficult to remember, that the objective was to drain the swamp. You see, after twenty nine years, I found myself busy with the alligators. I forgot to cuddle her in a morning and be grateful for all the wonderful things we had. I forgot, that she too needed support. I forgot to thank her and be grateful for all she did for us. I forgot. And gradually she slipped away. I was grateful it all ended amicably, with no acrimony and that we parted friends, but even so, I couldn't see it had been my fault. I dropped the ball! It was me who forgot and of course a relationship is unsustainable if one of you has to carry it alone!
It was not until another fourteen years later, when we no longer had a place in each others lives, that I finally understood. And now I walk along the river bank where we once walked together, and I pass the secluded places where not that many years ago we made love in the grass, under the sunshine, basking in the warmth of a love which by that time had endured better than twenty five years.
Eventually it became clear to me, there were no alligators, there was no swamp, I had no commission to drain it, it was all simply a warped perception. What I did have however, was a very small obligation. That obligation was to never forget what a beautiful thing is was that we had! To never forget it needed just a little nurturing, to never forget to carry my part of it, to never forget to say I love you, well done, or thank you for being a part of my life.
So yes, it is important to understand how to make a relationship work but it is more important that you never forget that you know how or forger that small obligation. I can only say Thank You Universe, for giving me the opportunity to learn that important lesson.

I know its hurting. You call them third world people and can be able to strip millions of dollars smart first world guys. I find some of so called 'first worlds' very ignorant. You think people in africa are still in wholes like rats.Travel around and see light is all over. Education is the mother of civilization lol. Today i got i shock watch a program of this american woman who is leaving the husband to go live in a small town in Kenya with her new find. The poor boy was even threatened by the presenter while he is single and the cheater was the woman. So the so called know all first world guys what do you want? The poor guy was being criticised coz he was genuine in love hasn't asked anyone for money and this american lady is bored with a big mansion with a busy career man. For sure she long for her freedom to so sweet guy who goner respect her ideas. The mum was terrified the daughter was going in a country full of diseases but she forget america has an embassy there sure most stuffs should be american. No one noted the boy could speak fluent english.When can people understand people are different and stop generalizing situations. Those who are scammed is because they want too. Why look for a 30 yrs old boy at 60 vice versa. You lie on your bed the way make it .....
