This article is exactly to the point, because men are what they are and they don't change, but in all my experiences with women, there is always first looking like there is many things similar to what I am, but later on they start to show difference and in the end there are a lot of difference.
I understand it now,that they are later coming back to their original, because in the same time they started to change by them self, in the same time they started to demand changes in me and in our relationship.
This has in every case of my earlier relationship, been the reason to a break up.
I think that when women are more cabable for changes, they think that they can also change men to what they want, what is in fact almost impossible...in the same time,when men are more stable in what they are, then they think, that women have to be the same, making a big mistake and geting a huge disappointment, when change operation start.

When somebody ask me, why my earlier relationship broke down, my answer are almost always, that my partner changed to almost opposite, from what she was in beginning,but in fact it looks more, that she just got back to original.

This changing operation is of course bad for both involved and this article give really a good advise,how to go ahead and avoid that problem.

In fact, it is no matter what we are doing in our life, to act as our real self, give potential to succeed much better.

I am very surprised, that this article talk only about Father figure, when the Mother figure looks to be as often affecting relationships.
I had a 13 years relationship with an 16 years younger Indonesian Lady and she had in the end even change the account in the Bank only into her name, she took also care of all payments and organised our home just in her way.
I am a very strong person, have been in the Army in a powerfull position and an succesfull businessman, but still my Son said strait to her in our last year together, that she had manipulated his Father, to what she did not answer, but made a big smile.
After her, I married a 34 year younger Lady, but we was only living 5 month together, because she shange exactly everything in our home and our life into how she had lived before alone and as the top of everything, she try to controll, that I had my nails enough clean, even I know,that I am more clean than avarage People. When I confront her about that, she answered, that her Sister is always controlling every morning, that her Sons have clean finger nails, before they go to school.
After 2 month I got an ulcer, the preassure was to big, from her side, so I'm completely of the opinion, that this article are very onesided and it is not the men or the age difference, that is the only reason, I tink the biggest reason is Love and perhaps even onesided Love, where the one that is not Loving so much, use the situation and try to make everything, how they want it and try to force the soft hearted into to their power and that is exactly how I felt by my self in these two relationship,by my self.
In the first relationship, I did not even realise it, before I saw the big smile in that Ladies face, but in the second relationship I was already prepared and I protected my self very quickly.
In fact I believe, that we men face much more often Mother figures, than what women face Father figures, but we men just don't talk about it.

What I found was that dating an older partner is ok depending on the situation..If the man is too old like the woman is 30 and hes 55 or 60 I seen situations where the older man was scorned from previous relationships and other things and never dealt with his emotions and issues therefore they look for a younger lady to take that shit out on. So young ladies and young gentlemen watch out for the scorned old ones they look and act like this little blue face

'Psych-ism' is a broad topic and you've touched on many of it's phenomenological aspects that I'm completely in agreement with. I've never considered myself a psychic but seem to have experiences in different forms on a regular basis. This may sound crazy but my daughter and I have started practicing telepathy and have a growing photo collection of what we like to call faeries (don't really know what they are). Our mind reading is fairly low-level, we 'throw' and 'catch' single letters or numbers and we are only accurate for the first few tries before we seem to lose the connection. I should probably post one of the 'faerie' pics at some point. All too well, do I notice the general resistance to the subject, being a physics major. Science in general not only disregards the phenomena but in many instances attempts to argue against even the possibility of it's existence. A foolish exercise in ignorance, I say, that restricts the scientific model to a more lateral mode of progress that denies the higher truth from meaningful and rigorous exploration thus suppressing the next paradigm of scientific awareness. Proof can only exist when someone is willing to make the observations.
