Who Was Your Favourite Horror Star

Here a bit of fun for all you movie/tv buffs and anyone into both, who would you say was the best horror star eg: Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Lon (Creighton) Chaney jr,
Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Glenn Strange, Lon Chaney Snr, Tom Tyler (The Mummy's Hand) Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) and you can chose your own to discuss. So lets all have a fun time and post your answers, myself I like Vincent Price as he was a very versatile actor and did many types of film genres and was Egghead in the Batman tv series.

Do You Remember The Cinema Serials

You have all heard of the soapy serials on Tv, well long before that the cinemas had what is called a movie serial (action/adventure) back even to the silent era in 1914 when you had 'Perils of Pauline' right up to the last serials in 1956, 'Blackhawks' the idea was they would create these cliffhangers to support main cinema features to draw people back each week to see what happened to there favourite hero when he is left in a precarious situation, the same idea was also used in radio serials that were transmitted on airwaves, another form was the newspaper comics, they all had the same roots, can you recall any of these old serials, a lot came to Tv in the 1960's and even later years in many parts of the world, most serials were in 12 or 15 chapter formats and ran from 15-20 minutes in length. So let's take a nostalgic look back in time on this fun blog.

For years we have heard Digital is better than Analogue, look at the difference Analogue television gave you a television program in full, no interruptions from the transmission, yet Digital television you get a clearer picture and sound but the reception breaks up with any electrical pulses and pops In your neighbourhood, meaning you lose part of your vision or sound and you lose your program. Everyone is switching to this new medium and I feel they have not done there homework properly on these bells and buzzers, they have try to sell the idea when there are definitely problems, in defence of the Analogue TVs they are more durable and have a proven track record, Digital has it's place but there needs to be more research before replacing what we still have in Analogue, What is your view, are you for Analogue or Digital.

How Do We Define What Poetry Really Is ?

When I am posting poem's on 'Poet's Corner' on CS, I often get in my poem comments, 'This Is Not A Poem' how can we really be sure when there are so many poetry forms to deal with, I may just choose to create something new because I may think differently, so am I be discriminated against, or are they just being picky?
