Hey!!..Look Up There at That Hawk!..Se Em?..Hes up There At The top of That Lamp Post..And Hes Sitting There So Majestically...Talk About having a ""Birds Eye View"..Hes Scanning The Ground For Anything That May Move(Im Glad Im Not a Mouse or other Small Animals)
There are About 20 People Who are Alive Today Because Of Me(They Dont Know it Though)..They Dont Know That 37 Tons Going at 65 Miles an Hour Swerved Into The 2nd Lane Because They werent looking When They Come On The Highway(I Wonder if They Had Children In The Cars?)
Little Brown "Mr Ground Hog" Off The Side Of The Highway..Sitting Up Just Like Squirrels Do And Eating Something he has In His Hands
(What Peaceful Little Guys They are)I Could never harm Them,,Thats for Sure
Look Over There On That Slow lookin Country Road!
Theres A Man And a Woman..Each On Their own Horse..Peacefully Slogging along On A Fine Sunny Sunday Afternoon(Cant Beat That)
Going By a Farm..I Could see a big Blob Laying There..as I Careened by..I Was Able To See That it Was a Big Fat Hog..Laying There On His Side...In What else?...A Mud Pit
Its almost Dark..and Theres Thousands Of Little Black Birds all Flying In A ball(That Suddenly Changes Directions..Like That!!!!)
Then They all Finally..Little by Little..Settle All In The same Tree For The Night(From a Distance..The Tree looks Like its In Full Bloom)
So Far..This Year..In Ohio..There Have been "945 Highway Deaths"
(Will people Ever learn?)
And Finally
Why is it That all I See On The side of The highways Are "Black Cats?"...I saw 3 of Them..Hundreds of miles Apart..and All Doing The same thing...."Staring At The Ground"

Not Too Much happened This week
Mostly Things That One Must really have a Keen Eye To Zero In In The Situation
Anyway
While I Was driving In Pennslyvania(About 10PM)..I Happened To be The Only Vehicle On Highway 80 For miles..All There is To see is What The Headlights Show me In Front Of The Truck(Maybe 40 Feet or So..Thats it)
What I Did Learn Is
One must Be Ready For The Unexpected And be Ready To react In a Seconds Notice(Yes!!..I Said a seconds Notice!!)
Coming around a bend On This darkened Highway..Right There..As The Lights Came upon Them Crossing The Road at a Slow Pace were About 20 Deer
Being a 2 Lane Highway..Theres no Where to Go if Your In A Car
If Your driving A Tractor Trailer?...Hold On And Pray for The best!
You Cant Swerve as A car can...But You can "Veer" Just A little
And Thats What I Did(Nearly hitting The Last Deer)..Who Just kept At His/Her usual pace
Its No Wonder That Deer are dead All Over The highways...They are blinded by The Headlights And they Dont Know Whats Going On
Any Way...Im Happy To say..Ive yet To Run Over Any Animal
Its The 1st Week of November... And When I Walked On The grass In Ohio..There Were "Grasshoppers" Jumping All Over The Place
In Northern Indiana(On Route 20)The Amish Have Now switched To Their "Winter Carriages" Now..Complete With Enclosed Windows(It Was Raining And I Didnt see any Windshield Wipers Going Though
I Crossed Over The Portage River..The Maumee..The Croton...The Black River...The Vermilion...The Susqueana .And The Mighty Mississippi River
And Finally To end These Events
While Getting To The Other Side Of The Mississippi River(Coming Into Iowa)They Have An Electronic Sign That Spans The Width Of The Highway..and It Said
..."Whole Lot of Ruttin Goin On"......................

When Ricky Nelson Wrote The Song.."Garden Party"
He wrote it because he Went to "Madison Square Garden"..For a reunion of The old Time Songs
But he Got no repect When he went There
Thats Why he Sang at The End of This Song
"If Memories Were All I Sang".."Id Rather Drive A Truck"
And I Agree With Mr Nelson
This Site Is Sort of Like a "Garden Party"
There Are people That used to be friends with Me(There still here) But They Dont Talk To me Anymore)Whats up with That I Think To Myself?
I didnt Do Nothing bad To Them(Leaves a Person To Wonder if They Are Really A Good person
Not Too many People talk With me Anymore(Perhaps They Have Their reasons(or They think That I dont like them(I Dont Know)(And At this point..I dont really care Anymore)
And Im Sure That There Are other People Who feel The same way(But Dont and Wont say Anything)
Anyway...This is The same thing In a Way as A "Garden Party"
But there Are Some(The few) Who are still friendly With me
And As The saying Goes
"If you got One Friend".."Thats All You Need"
Dont get me Wrong here...Ill Survive...And im not sad about it
Its No Wonder why Some leave here..Because like "Garden Party"...They got no reconition Nor The respect That We Should get
Maybe It Would be A better Place if Some of Us Took A "Second Look..... Into Our Mirror"

Have to leave In a Couple of hours

"THE TERRIBLE THREES"

Ive got To be One Of The unluckiest People On The Planet
But I Know Theres worst For Sure
Anyway..Last June I bought a Ford Explorer From This guy Who has a car repair And detailing Business
1) I didnt get 100 Miles out of The Explorer.................... When The "Rear End" Blew
So It got towed Back To The guy For Him To Fix
And it Took Him nearly 3 Months To fix The Inside Because of gear ratios and all That Stuff
2)Last Friday It Was Finally Done..And I drove it from There back To Where I Live(6Miles)
The next Morning I had To go drive The truck ..So i Packed All That I Would Need Into The Explorer And got In...Turned The key..Only To Find That The Battery Was Dead(With No Time To Screw Around With it..I Got A Ride To The Truck
And After I Got back(Yesterday) I Took The Battery Out ..Went And got it Tested(It Was No Good) Bought A New One..And brought it back And Installed it In The Explorer(And it Started Up)
3)Next Day(Today)..I Got In it And started To drive...I Got maybe 5 Miles(Doing About 40MPHs..When The Hood Flew Up!!!...I Couldnt see!!..And finally made it To The side of The Road(The Latch Somehow Had Disengaged!!!(Spooky.... To Say The Least)...Well I fixed That..and It seems to be All Okay Now..(I Think)

That Black Cloud That Rains And sends out Lightening Bolts Seems To Always Follow Me Around
(I Hope Theres No Number "Four")
