To Start With..I saw A sign That Said.."Obey The Sign Or Pay The Fine"(Still Wondering What That means)
Saw A Turkey Along The highway..(What A pretty thing She Was..some "Tom" Will be A lucky Guy)
Then There was A Solitary Horse..Laying Down And Watching Us humans Whizzing by Him(Wonder What he thinks of us?)
Of All The Cornfields Ive Seen..Ive yet to see A "Scarecrow" Out There(I Guess They Cant just Cut it)
And The Only Way One Can tell if That Really is A fence Is by The Shape(Completely Covered With Vegetation)
Its a Wonder That There Are Any Groundhogs
Or For That matter..Racoons..(There Are more of Them lying On The highway Than Ive seen Out And About)
All of The houses Backyards Are Visible from The Highway And It Seems That Every Last One of Them have That Most omportant Thing In Their backyards(Yep..Everybody has "The Ole Shed")
Motor Cycle gands Seen..Devils Deciples..Hells Lovers..Diablos And The Outlaws(Its good They Were All seen separately And Apart)
Saw 3 Dogs Out Pal-ing Around(Nice To be A Country Dog)
Sign On A village Church.."When Prayers Go Up".."Blessings Come Down"
There Was A free Standing rail Road Bridge(Not used Any more)..All covered in Rust(About 500 Feet long) I Imagined The old Locomotives Hauling The frieght Across it
On My Way To "Green Bay" Wisconsin..I went by A Zoo On 41 North..They had A Species Of Buffalo(African?)All grazing In The field(Nice Sight to See)..A little ways further up on 41 North Theres An Airplane Museum..With 2 Old Jets Out front And mounted For All to see as we go "Flying" By
And The best of All On This same Route Was A Billboard Advertising Their Radio Station..W-NAM..
I saw A 3 Wheeled Motorcycloe Go by With A "Machine Gun" Mounted On The back(Wonder how far he got with The Cops?)
Rivers Gone Over..The Rocky River..Muddy..Ashtabula..Cayuga-Seneca..And The Mohawk
Traveling Along 90 In new York..Most Of the time You Straddle The Erie Canal..Its Goes from maybe 40 feet Wide to About 100 feet(Havnt seen not A boat On it yet)
A "Praying Mantis" Landed In my open Window When I Was Parked..I looked At him ..Lightly Touched him Aaand Away he Went into The Wind..
And A Little brown Toad(Maybe 1 Inch) Was Almost Stepped on By Yours truly..But It Didnt happen..And he kept Hopping On His Was(Boing Boing Boing)
And Lastly..On A Steep 5 Mile Downgrade A Sign says for truckers.."Runaway Ramp"..3 Miles..If A driver lost his breaks..He Would never Make 3 Miles..If he did he Would be going 200 Miles An Hour..Never mind The cars That Would get crucified In The Process..Some Signs Are Just Stupid..And That is The Stupidest Of Them All
..And Thats The way it was for my Week............
...And While driving At Night..I looked up To The Stars..And I Thought I Saw "Simmo"Looking Down At me And pointing His Finger As he Did In His Picture...Youre Not Forgotten Simmo...............
