Now..... After Theyre Quite Sure That You Are You..... And All That
You Have To Get Into What They Call A Johnnie....(NO Under Wear Allowed Either)
Nextly..(Is That A Word?)...You Get On A Gurney
They Give You Some Pills To Take.........The They Tell You To Breathe Deeply Three Times................ With This Thing Over You Face.......And at This Point?......You Fade Away
The Nexxt Thing I Remeber Is Opening My Eyes To All These Faces Lookin Down At Me And Asking That Question..(LIke The Phone Commercial)..."Can You Hear Me?"...Can You Hear Us Now?"
Finally..I Realiuze Where i Am..... And I Could See The Clock.....And Realizing That Its Two Hours Later Now
So I Yell Out Loud...."My Back Is Hurting Real Bad...And Realize .......This Is Not My Voice
Im Told Later That There Was A Big a** Tube That Was Put Down My Throat And Thats Why My Voice Had Changed......Anyways...After I Yelled About My Back Hurting?....They Inject Me With Something
But...Its Still Hurtn...So I Yell Some More...They Give Me Another Injection
5 Minutes Later?...Its Still Hurting...Another Injection
Now?...It Still Hurts...But Its Manageable...Im Brought Up To A Room
From That Point On?...Im Laying A Bed With No Less Than 6 Tubes Connected To Me From Both Sides
And Constant Beeping Noises That You Have No Chice But To Listen To..Over And Over Again
I Also Have A Metal Rod Thats Secured By Some Kind Of Nuts And Blots
(Im Sure They Had To Do Some Drilling Inside There Some Where.... Along The Way
Plus Each Shift?.... Its A Different Nurse...(Ya Gotta Hope Shes Gonna Be Nice... Like The Last Nurse Was
She Wasnt....
Finally....I Got Ta Hell Out Of There Yesterday........And The Doctor Said The Hurtiing Will Eventually Go Away
