Women...convinced or have always?

Have some women been convinced to hate men or have they always?

Essentially, the question asks if there has been an increase in women hating men since the hardcore feminist movement began? As far as I know, the feminist movement began to gain a voice/recognition primarily in the late 1960's to early 1970's. It began to become hardcore when Hillary ran. Paraphrasing here....but she referenced something about not staying home baking cookies in the kitchen.

So....my question stands as stated in the beginning.

where were the parents?

I know no details about the abuse cases. But I wonder if a traditional family structure was non-existent with most of the under-aged being abused? Because, where were the parents to protect their children?

trust

Is it fair to say that those who do not trust will soon find themselves isolated and hating the world?

Happy Saturday to you all.

Speechless

The Driver sitting there with Bert on a boring Tuesday night at the local bar. Of course the Driver is drinking soda, otherwise...how could he be the Driver?

Boring...

Boring...

Both the Driver and Bert are sitting at a small town bar on a Tuesday night. The Driver turns to Bert and says, "this sucks." Nobody was in the small town bar except those two and the bartender. The Driver with analyzing every damn thing...analyzes the situation. Bert, if we are going to be at a bar spending money on drinks, why don't we do it with some women around? Bert turns to him with a large grin on his face...speechless...

Let's go...south.

An hour later they are there.

Plenty of women here Bert...the Driver says.

After talking with many different ladies, the night ends.

Bert and The Driver are sitting there...she walks up...would you guys like to tip me for my dance. The Driver, "of course." ...grabs a dollar out....

The Driver in the next thing closest to love looking at this beauty has to ask..."what nationality are you?" I am Cuban and Hispanic, she replies. What are you? I am French and Canadian. She turns to Bert to ask him his nationality while she was only standing there with her sexy panties on....Bert was again, Speechless.

does it make you automatically right?

Being a bitter woman, does that automatically make you right about everything? I will admit, I did do a little bit of city driving by changing into the left lane while a vehicle was still behind me in that lane but as I put my blinker on and started moving over, the lady behind me started to speed up and that did not stop me from moving over. It ended with both of us beeping our horns at each other (she beeped first...for the record). laugh I think that is the first time I honked my horn while actually driving and moving in a car...done it a couple times if people fell asleep at the stop light. thumbs up

I have one more story about bitterness...but I will not bore you.

Do you know you?

I mean, how could you really?

The typical American has an 8 hour a day job and sleeps 8 hours a day. That is 16 hours, leaving 8 hours a day for you to be you.

Okay, to bath and eat in a day most likely takes an hour.

So now down to 7 hours in a day for you to be you.

Typically, there are home chores work to take care of, organizing, repairing, cleaning, taking the garbage out...even with a spouse at home...there is usually something or the other person to take care of. Let us guess another hour for the odds and ends things.

Now we are down to 6 hours in a day.

I am not sure how long the average American spends watching television...is it 2 hours a day or 4? Okay, I am going to consider it 3 hours...watching mindless crap and not allowing us to explore who we really are.

Now at this time we are down to 3 hours a day.

Do you chat with friends and family a bit during your day? Do you go to the bar and have a couple of beers? Do you have to run to the store for some groceries? What other loose ends need to be done? People are usually busy doing something it seems. Okay, let us consider this part of the day an hour.

Now, there are just 2 hours left in the day for you to be you.

How many people even contemplate a bit of who they are...and then put it into practice?
Many people allow their jobs to define who they are. But, are they really that person? Didn't a company just define who you are and not yourself?

What about children...do you have any...does that not take up any part of your time?

Who are you?

Sheep?

Nobody?

Do you know?

Surgery Today.

This surgery is a matter of time...literary. I have went through this once before in my life and as expected with any surgery, I did not enjoy it. It will be very messy and very painful. I have to cut it open right in the center and dig my hands through its guts. Luckily...I think anyway if my memory serves me right, I have some rubber gloves for the duty. I hope so anyway.

I broke my watch band pin and there was a small metal piece that also came lose on the band. After taking 3 attempts to order the right size pin, I am finally ready to reassemble. However, the small piece that came lose is missing. uh oh It was on my desk...the bastard. laugh But, I am constantly shifting stuff around on there and I can no longer find it. I do recall vacuuming one time around my desk and hearing a loud...seemingly...something that sounded like it was hard piece being sucked up. I have never had that noise ever happen before while vacuuming...and now this small metal piece is missing. hmmm crying

I guess it will be worth the trouble if I find it...but if not....

Happy Wednesday all.

Robert Part II

Robert always has these fantastic romantic episodes that always seem to have him left leaving with his tail between his legs at the end. I know how he feels. That is what I told myself a couple hours ago.

Okay, I will try my hand at story telling.

Dark out. The roads were winding and just me, myself, and I in my old pick up truck with dim lights. It is early spring the roads are clear but there is still snow on the ground. Listening to the radio on this long desolate road I have never been down before, a sharp corner arrives out of nowhere. I crank the wheel as sharp as I can get it, but yet, I see the edge of the road nearing and ultimately I come to a stop out in the middle of a country side field. ...just dark everywhere.

Luckily the truck still runs and drives and I begin to navigate the dark field hoping I do not lose sight of the road that I am trying to find a path to. There is this small hill I crest when I see a very tiny road leading in the direction I need to go in order to make it back on that dark road. There is a very old farm house, it looks abandoned with many small silver grey sun soaked wooden buildings.

I go down the hill and am nearing where my destination dark road is when the tiny road finally narrows to nothing...to just a small path that my truck will not fit through. I get out to walk through this path leading through some meticulously pruned shrubs. To find a beautiful European blond lady entering from the opposite side.

She must live here...she will be freaked to see me coming from her property. Not so. She was un-phased. I explain to her my situation. There was something about her...a look in her eye I noticed. We make it back to the truck and we both jump in and right away and out of nowhere I gave her a kiss. She was very receptive...and felt I needed to apologize explaining to her how I felt compelled to do that.

She explains to me that we need to go back the way I came in, up the hill. We turn around and start our way up the hill only to get up half way. We spin out with the snow. She explains how we need to pack down a trail first and keep attempting our way up the hill until we make it to the top. Now, working on our fifth attempt up the hill and talking about children, I turn to see her completely naked.

As I begin to suckle her and making it downward....and getting my first taste of her...I wake up. doh

Now I know what Robert feels like. rolling on the floor laughing

Human/Technology interface....pending danger?

Here are two recently true stories involving human and technology and it not ending well for a human.

First story has to do with 2 people...a son and a father with two different first names and both of them have cable tv from the same provider. The employees plug in the payment received data in the wrong account where the son for a period of time is being credited with his father's payments until the father begins getting bills in amounts that are double the usual.

The father calls the cable company and they spot the error and it is quickly fixed for the father. However, the cable company's computer system that generates the billing statements does not provide the son who has been incorrectly being credited with his monthly bill for two months. The son being a busy guy only recognizes he never got a bill for one month and figures he will pay next month when the current bill comes in. It does not work that way. By the time the next month rolls around, the son's cable has been turned off by the the cable company's computer system. In addition, his account has been hammered with late fees and rehook-up fees. A bill that was suppose to be a little over $200 is now nearly $600 and if he wants his tv back on, he is to pay that amount. The son paid that and now his tv only works half of the time. Now that the son understands what is going on...he is in the process of getting things straightened out. He has been on the phone for hours and all of the cable company's employees are not sure how to fix the problem yet. Who knows how it will all end...but nearly a week without tv and possibly out about $350.

Second story. A huge online company allows people to sell on their venue. Everything that happens on their site is part of a computer system. In this case, a recent seller was penalized an increase in seller fees of 40% that could lead to expenses for the seller raising over $10,000 per year. This selling venue allows returns to be freely done and unquestioned. In many cases, the seller that would get a refund would relist the item exactly as previously described and as pictured...nothing changed. The new buyer would leave a positive feedback and very pleased with the purchase. However, the selling venue's computer system only weighs in on the fact the item was returned for a refund. When the seller contacts the venue and asks the question...who is right here...the first buyer returning it for a refund and blaming it on the seller for them returning it....or the second buyer who buys it exactly as it was sold the first time around and is very satisfied with their purchase. No real answer becomes of that question. Because...there is nothing they can do, the computer system recognizes what is was designed to do. The seller is left with an increased expense of $10,000.

A friend once said....sometimes you can be the dolphin that gets caught in the tuna net.

...lets hope as we become more and more technology dependent and driven...not too many dolphins get caught in the net.

Online dating sites dying?

What do you think? Are online dating sites becoming a thing of old? I know with this site, I hear about how boring the blogs are becoming and therefore people are just not interested in coming to the site as frequently. There is another dating site that I have been on for some time too...and I don't use it hardly at all anymore because it just seems to be a waste of time more than anything else. But, I recently rechecked it out...being bored...and I noticed that the number of users online was significantly less...nearly half as less as I remember it. Perhaps the concept of the dating sites I use (which is only 2) is becoming outdated to some extent and people are finding other means of meeting? Or, perhaps...people don't have any interest on meeting others anymore? Or even more perhaps, maybe I have just not gotten enough information to make any sort of determinations? dunno

Everything you ever done.

I recently heard that one day it will be available for everyone to see, review, read...or whatever...all your activity you have ever done on the internet.

I am not sure how true that is....but what is to stop whoever from doing so?

How would you feel if everything you have ever done online is shared?

I think I would be okay with it. After all, it was well known that everything that is done on the internet was/is not entirely private in the first place.

It would be a great way of identifying who many people really are.
