Let's talk crazy conspiracies?

I don't know what it is, but I seem to attract some people with novel different ideas. I was out at the bar the other night and this guy who I have never met before decides to sit next to me and starts talking. Now the live band was playing very loudly and it was difficult to hear him.

He opens up by asking me, 'what do you think of a government having a secret war with its people?' At first I am thinking, I am here to enjoy the music and not talk politics. But he went on. He then asks, 'what if you were a leader of a country...why would you want a secret war against your people and how would you carry it out?'

Still talking, I am half paying attention to him and watching and listening to the band, as I intended to do. Then he continues even further. Why? Why would you want a secret war against your people? He started spewing out many reasons. Some of them I do remember. He says, maybe the population is becoming more of a drain than contributing. Maybe a society is becoming too smart...catching on to the way things really are? I asked with that one, what he meant. He said, maybe about the secrets they hold and he mentioned many more things I could not hear completely. Another one I remember he mentioned is, maybe the leader and his elite surrounding people feel threatened. The last one I recall was, maybe the leader is a psychopath and he enjoys violence.

Like I said, crazy stuff here. It gets even more out there.

At this time, I am listening a little more closer to him. So I say, 'okay...how do you do it?'

He said that there are many ways. You could divide a people. You could strip their identities, you could reinstate a draft, you could remove safety regulations, you could create catastrophic events, you could remove benefits. I am trying to think of more things he said....just some things that are just out there. He exeven mentioned about the current Vegas incident. He says, 'what about setting up an old guy as a patsy without any sort of military training and have him carry out something experts could do.

He just went on and on....I cannot remember everything he said...could not hear either.

But anyway, I just got done seeing the movie American Made. Supposedly based off some real life events. Also, just a Hollywood movie.

On my way home, I got thinking a bit about what the guy talked about.

It was crazy that the government gave Flint lead water to drink.
It was crazy that the EPA themselves dumped a bunch of pollution in the Colorado river.

...then,

I somewhat recall some sort of conflict going on with Hollywood right now. I know they were supporting Hillary bigly.

laugh

Anyway....just having some fun with some crazy conspiracy stuff.

"Calm before the storm."

Now Trump says many things...but what do you think he meant with his recent comment about this being the 'calm before the storm'?

The way it seems, turmoil is becoming more and more prevalent....perhaps he knows of something to come? dunno

and

If so, shouldn't he inform his country to prevent it from coming?

or...is is just more empty talk?

privilege

Is it right that smart people should get more privilege than dumb people?

This is of course just looking at a whole in general.

smarter people are usually richer..

"a fool and his money will soon depart"

money allows you comforts

smarter people usually get better jobs

they are bosses

they are owners

they usually are good at golflaugh

smarter people can manipulate the system better

they understand more

they live in communities with other rich...aka smarter people

they build greater networks among people of influence

smart people have power

"knowledge is power"

they can hire you

they can fire you

Okay, I can go on...and one argument would be, yeah but...everyone has the option to become intelligent.

That might be true...

but, not everyone can afford a college education

not everyone has the biological make up that accompanies intelligence

not everyone has the time

not everyone has been encourage to pursue education

....bottom line, intelligence is not for everyone.

How far should this whole fight over privilege go?

We do not live in a utopia....things are flawed...perhaps some things have no solutions.

dunno

But, I am all for humanity as a whole.

Puerto Rico dam reported to be failing...

and the people living below this dam cannot be contacted to be informed. The news states there is no electricity and telephone service, how does one inform a mass of people in a highly dangerous area, right below a dam that is reported to be failing?

Hopefully they get the message.

All we will ever be?

Either the writer of Game of Thrones is a genius or he/she has a very vivid imagination mixed with a philosophical thinking that does not hold too much water. I am at a part in the series where a very profound statement has been made. I have just began to ponder it. I like thinking about things on my own first to see how valid points/philosophical statements are...but this one might take some time, time unfortunately I do not have a lot of lately. Getting some perspective here will certainly help.

The statement: "Hopes and dreams, and loves and fears will all we will ever be." Is it possible if we boil down everything in our lives into the most simplest forms, does this statement hold validity?

These four essential life characteristics do all pertain to the self. That is for sure.

The part in the series has to do with teaching a young girl to be nobody.

Is it better to be somebody or nobody?

dunno

The reason why I ask, to be somebody, carries an ego attached. From things I have seen and heard in the past, your ego is not your amigo. laugh

love making you weaker

I recently heard this in a show I was watching.

In a cut-throat world, being in love only makes one weaker. What do you think?

It was really difficult, I was either going to blog about this or about something a friend of mine told me about last night.....the scurvy pirate. confused rolling on the floor laughing

As a twister, take a guess which one I blogged about. grintongue

feminism

I wanted to post a comment on the most recent feminism blog, but I see the comments had been disabled. Let it be known, I will not attack anyone on their personal opinions and perceptions. I don't see a productive furthering the discussion of a serious topic if we are in a sense intimidating others from contributing.

The videos the previous blogger posted have very valid points that were being made and I encourage others on checking out what is being said.

The exact anger and frustrations that men may currently feel are the exact same emotions that drove women to take the extreme stances they have today. I feel there is no constructive and mutually beneficial way in becoming more understanding of each other if we are going to perpetuate these negative behaviors.

But...that is just my thoughts...dunno

Anyway, the comment I wanted to make on his blog was:

Last night, a buddy and I went out. We were both standing by the bar and a woman and her friend came up to the bar next to my buddy. From what I think I know about women, now days, a lot of women need to give you the green light to approach them. (maybe I was informed wrongly). But, my buddy is more the traditional guy. He just went ahead and tried to talk to them. Boy, did he get an ear full. *&%^ off, why you talking to me you #%$#...the lady started screaming at him.

Just today, I seen two younger women broke down with their car. Granted I seen that while I was driving by the parking lot...they seemed to be confused/perhaps stuck on what to do.

I just wonder if they were maybe not waiting for a man to show up to help them?

My thought was...after these relatively two current situations that I personally witnessed....Is it that men are only good to women when they are needed? I hear it a lot, I only want a man around when I want them around....some women say.

Not to mention...I am sure some of you were waiting for my input. laugh

global warming...what do you think?

Harvey producing over 4' of rain in places in Texas and now Irma sustaining 180 mile an hour winds with gust over 200 mph. Not to mention, warmer ocean waters.

What do you think? Is this proof of global warming?

Not to mention, the hurricane season is just starting.

The Anti-Christ

For centuries (if not longer) the Anti-Christ has been talked about. We have been led to believe that the Anti-Christ was going to be a figure-head (person) and he would at one time or another in our future come. When he has arrived, it was supposed that it would not be a good thing for humanity, and some would say he would bring outright evil.

Now, talking with a friend, it had occurred that with the turning away from the Christian religion...I am not saying that everyone should convert to Christianity...but I am talking about the decline in people being part of the Christian religion. I think I heard one time, about 10 years ago, there has been a 40% decline in people proclaiming to be Catholic, compared to the 1950's.

With this decline, people, by default, are turning away from the Bible. The Bible is the teaching of Jesus Christ (Word of God). Does it not make sense, if you are turning away from the teaching of Jesus Christ, you are therefore an anti-Christ?

Mr. Twist-her

By no means a novel idea here. In fact, there is one member that we are blessed with his presence that has spoken of this on many occasions. Robert.....tip hat and cheers

My friend brought up all on his own the other night, and I am starting to think that many men are beginning to think and feel this way. confused I can't put my finger on it really. dunno

But anyway, he brought up the idea of stuffing a sock (I proudly suggested a tube sock) down his pants. For giggles, I suggested that we actually do that and see what the results will be. idea Of course, I need to see some data. laugh With all this talk of this "magic sock," I figured we had to have a name for a up and coming billion-dollar product (of course with some royalties going to Robert).

After dropping my friend off, the name just sorta came out of nowhere. Because honestly, I really was not even thinking about it. rolling on the floor laughing But...it was Mr. Twist-her.

how we are being dumbed down

I have not even given this a lot of thought and I do not even know if there is a point to this. I think perhaps it is just to stimulate possible postulating. I just started a new book and only on chapter one. It has to do with physics and its link to Eastern Mysticism. The little bit I have read has gotten me thinking a bit. I was fascinated to hear that mathematics is a language of nature, only thing with symbols. Also how our spoken language is only a guide of sorts to efficiently understand one another. It would take way to long to describe every aspect of a tree, or a person. Not to mention, it would be impossible...so we use tree or person to describe that object. This is all we are taught to care about and understand. But what is a person? ...or a tree for that matter. Both are made up of matter and both have this mysterious energy force connected to them.

Okay, this is just about as far as I got with my thinking...lol.

But,

I left the best for last. At least to me it is, there was a saying I read in the book.

"The map is not the territory."

It is like we are taught how to identify and read the map, but we never go seeking for the territory.

...thus, we are being dumbed down.dunno

relationships

Are they really that difficult to form? I have been on this dating site for over 2 years...think I am pushing 3, but who is counting. Before a relationship (speaking of couples here...married or unmarried but exclusive to each other) can start, it is very typical for people to date first to see what level of compatibility they have. If the dating process goes smoothly with each person, a relationship may very well develop.

This is a dating site and I have heard of very few dates in my umpteen years I have been on here. As just mentioned, dates are just the usual beginning of potential relationships. Some on here may feel that since there is long distances between people here, that blogging is a good way of getting to know somebody. However, there is only so much two people can find out about each other with blogging and messaging. I have found it very rare that people are willing to share their bad traits in public format or even private messages, bad traits that could easily make or break any sort of relationship from potentially moving forward. So, blogging and private messages, in my opinion, cannot replace actual physical dating.

The long distance between people is a reasonable reason why some dates actually do not happen. From what I have seen, not all people have this huge distance between them and meeting up for dates is very possible...with a little effort. With that said, there are not many dates that I am aware of that have took place here in my years.

What are our intentions on this dating site....or any dating site for that matter? Are we very cautious to jump into a relationship and just patiently sitting back and waiting for that indisputable magic person to show up...that person who can break down our walls we have surrounded ourselves with?

I wonder...even for myself...the feelings I have that I am not even looking forward to even going on a date at this moment. But, I will...if some sort of magic person befalls upon me. ....the idea of a relationship. wow

Does anyone else share with this?
