Positive wishes for everyone

A friend of mine sent this and I thought maybe having a good positive tone in our blog world is good.

WISHES FOR EVERYONE...

This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life.”    —Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have a nice day/night/evening/morning everyone...

bad day

I don't mean to to come and spread negativity in our blog world today but boy I'm having one of those days where I just want to sulk down in the bottom of the ocean. ...

I mean it's a very beautiful day in spring but my flowers are all eaten up by bugs and it happened so fast.

On my porch are beautiful begonias and orange flowers, so beautiful yesterday, I woke up and boy golly nothing is left of the leaves and flowers.

I know what to do, go and get me pesticides which I absolutely dislike.
Just sharing my not too shiny day. I hope my son will call me.

I should fly back to California this July 4th.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

why are we here?

After being here for 4 years or so now, I realized what a great place this is.

I have experienced all sorts of emotions here and sometimes not too good but honestly, most of the time just hilarious and gives me joy.

I know we can't all please everyone nor expect everyone to like us, but for me, I take the good from the bad.

Having said that, no one forces us to be here.
In spite of the bad days, I love being here and the friends I've met and still chatting with? Wouldn't change it for the world. And the learning? Awesome! Take care you all. ..

What's your experience, want to share?

Have a nice day/evening everyone.bouquet lips cheers wine

a prayer for a dear friend... SIMMO

SPECIAL REQUEST FOR A VERY SPECIAL WRITER, BLOGGER AND A FRIEND. LET'S ALL JOIN OUR HANDS TOGETHER IN A MOMENT OF SILENCE AND PRAY.

Thanks all for joining in.

Probably all of us are truly feeling sad today for the passing of a great friend. Simmo.

May I please request all of us to say a prayer for him.

I'm still shocked and as I've been very busy with other things lately I didn't even learn until the blog of Teddy. Thank You Teddy for the info.

I know most of us here that had been for a while knew what happened last year.

Another member on here whom I will not mention her name, broke his heart so he requested my help with another good member to help him in the research of that person. We didn't succeed but him and I had been communicating in our personal mail but never mentioned if he was sick or not. He was absolutely one of the best bloggers on here and I will terribly miss him.

Please join me in a prayer for his soul.

Thank you all so much.

Our dear Simmo wherever you are, we love you.sad flower sad flower sad flower

May you rest in peace.sad flower

save the innocent

This is an example of a colossal mistake if Mary Jane Veloso would be executed. I copied this from Philippine News.

Mary Jane Veloso's recruiter surrenders
Posted on Tuesday Apr 28th at 1:53pm

By Rosette Adel

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) — The alleged recruiter of Mary Jane Veloso, who is on the death row in Indonesia, surrendered to authorities Tuesday in Nueva Ecija.

Maria Cristina Sergio surfaced at the Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office Tuesday morning, hours before Veloso is scheduled to be executed by firing squad in Indonesia.

In an interview with dzMM Sergio said she surrendered as she fears for her life after receiving death threats. She maintained, however, that she was not responsible for deceiving Veloso but she is willing to undergo investigation.

Veloso was found guilty by an Indonesian court in 2010 for smuggling illegal drugs. The 30-year-old worker insisted she was a victim of a drug syndicate.

The surrender of Sergio, who also goes by the name Mary Christine Gulles Pasadilla, came as the Department of Justice (DOJ) started its preliminary investigation on criminal charges against her and two other individuals.

The National Bureau of Investigation-Anti Human Trafficking Division (NBI-AHRAD) complaint against Sergio and two other unnamed individuals were assigned to state prosecutor Susan Azarcon.

NBI-AHTRAD's probe alleged that Veloso is a victim of deception and human trafficking.

Sergio and the other suspects face complaints of illegal recruitment, swindling and human trafficking before the DOJ under the recommendation of NBI.

so will it be Pacquiao or Mayweather?

Sports time folks.

With a million dollar per seat sold in the box for this game, how many are anticipating this game?

I'm a very sports addict person but not into anything that hurts like boxing. But with Pacquiao I always make it as an exception.

So who do you think will win?

Have fun everyone.

you worry me

This was a letter written by a Christian pilot to a Muslim doctor, who thought was being profiled while boarding a plane.

Sent to me by a friend.

YOU WORRY ME!

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wishyou didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

the fight after

Some say it's fixed, most say no.

Some say rematch will come, some still say no (at least in my circle). I don't know about you.

But money made and Mayweather being the highest paid athlete ever, just might say okay. .

I did lose a lot of money. ...

But it is what it is...

Having a great breakfast. ..

What about our blog land?

Good morning guys. ..cheers heart wings bouquet

we are awesome

This was sent to me by a friend and thought a good one to share.
From..The quote of the month  by   Jay Leno:   .

No matter what our kids And the new generation think about us,

WE ARE AWESOME !!!   OUR Lives are LIVING PROOF !!!

To Those of Us Born
1925 - 1970       :

~~~~~~~~~
TO ALL THE
KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE   1930s, '40s, '50s,   '60s and '70s!!
First, we survived
Being born to mothers who may have smoked and/or drank
While they were
Pregnant.
They took aspirin, Ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.
Then, after that Trauma, we were   Put to sleep On our tummies   In baby cribs
Covered   With bright colored Lead-based paints.
We had no
Childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets,
And, when we Rode our bikes,
We had baseball Caps,   Not helmets on Our heads.
As infants and Children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts,
No air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes..
Riding in the
Back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water
From the garden hose and not from a bottle.
We shared one
Soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes,
White bread, real butter, and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar.
And we weren't overweight.
WHY?
Because we were
Always outside playing...that's why!
We would leave
Home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights
Came on.
No one was
Able to reach us all day.
--And, we were
OKAY.
We would spend
Hours building
Our go-carts out
Of scraps
And then ride
Them down the hill,
Only to find
Out we forgot the brakes.. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned
To solve the problem..
We did not
Have Play Stations, Nintendos and X-boxes. There were
No video games,
No 150 channels on cable,
No video movies
Or DVDs,
No surround-sound or
CDs,
No cell phones,
No personal computers,
No Internet and
No chat rooms.
WE HAD FRIENDS
And we went
Outside and found them!
We fell out
Of trees, got cut,
Broke bones and
Teeth,
And there were
No lawsuits
From those accidents.
freedom of speech
One thing I will never trade my country for is the right to freedom of speech and the press. Many more reasons but these two items come first.
I don't know about most countries in the world but I am aware of so many that won't allow this freedom.
I just want to thank this site for such a liberal policy in the conduct of any subject that I'm sure can't be tolerated in most countries.
In your country, can you write and express like you do here?
My country is not perfect but I can say this, I'm proud and I am happy to be an American.
Peace. .I thought we were the Guardian of this expensive commodity. Peace. Maybe I am wrong.
