peaceful in success....

Achieving success is everybody's goal for life and there are absolutely
many different approaches
that can lead people to success. Some people choose to be normal to wait for chances, while some other people prefer to be different from everyone else. Which one is the promising way to succeed? In my opinion, I believe that once you are unique enough, you are already on the way to success.
Everybody is different and unique in their own way. When someone thinks of diversity they think of skin color, race or ethnicity, but diversity can mean other things too. Diversity can also be how unique you are from other people. I live in a country that has a wide range of different culture and religion.
Learning new things about someone's background teaches me to understand that person instead of making a judgment on her/his race.
I am open to meeting new people of different backgrounds and understanding their different interests, As we all are .....
living in
"a competitive world",
we are like playing a survival game. Only who has the sharpest brains can survive. If you don't make yourself outstanding enough else you fail to distinguish yourself from others, you will be easily replaced and eliminated by someone who is better than you.
I believe that once you are unique enough, you are already on the way to success.
being different and unique is the better way to achieve success. It not only shows your competence but also creates your own value, making you take the lead in your way towards success.
there is a lot of different directions one can try ....which
is that fundamental belief that guides me each and every day to find my special gifts, to become a better person, and to make a difference in some small way in someone’s life. Maybe it is just a smile to a stranger that comes at the right time or an act of compassion to feed a starving dog. Each small thing adds a little bit to our common good. Each of us unknowingly adds many small seaming meaningless things each day that are unique to each of us to the lives of everyone and everything we come in contact with: wine

i know myself.....

“You can’t understand others unless you understand yourself”.
Self-awareness and personal insight increases perception and sensitivity towards others. Start by accepting the fact that people are very complex and different. Knowing yourself first opens the door to understanding others and then walking through the door leads you down the path to being able to establish good and positive relationships with others.
Having an open mind makes oneself much better.Knowing oneself is not easy
but ......nothing is impossible,
one must put aside their ego. No matter how special, extraordinary, and unique they like to think they are,
Having an open mind makes everything much better. People find it easier to approach you and open up their feelings. It also makes relationships easier to handle....the way...
I See Myself As A Person....
I became aware of the many hard-to-swallow realities in the world, nevertheless discerning the right from the wrong. My principles are solid, and I rarely find myself following the tide, though not so much that I am alienated, but rather, playing on a different beat in the same harmony....
but nothing replenishes as well as an extended portion of solely personal time, self knowledge and open mind...put together is me....
Knowing what you need – and taking it – is THE.... key.
Self-realizations can shift the ground underneath us, but they can also open up whole new fields of vision in doing so.
It is not so difficult to see ourselves, our identity, through....
Self knowledge is essential in figuring out what’s optional and not optional to our individual well-being. There’s power – and sometimes conflict – in knowing yourself and letting that understanding help guide your life.
the short answer is that you cannot.....understand others unless you
understand yourself.laugh

hmmmmmmmm...........

"what you shape is what you learn,"
In my opinion, life is only achieved through meaningful personal change......
Personal circumstances give us new experiences and broaden our narrow sight, even it could help us to get more comprehensive understanding of the world, the society and our life itself.
Besides to the sacrificing free speech from my parents, independence was the second attribute which affected my life time.
ignorance exists in every culture, but manifests itself in different ways. I finally saw that people know mostly only what is relevant to their own lives, and the fact that I was lucky enough to be a part of multiple cultures has given me a perspective and understanding that is rare.
Moving between various cultures, and gaining an understanding from
“cultural chameleon,”
I look back now and see that I was trying so hard to be different that I was not really .....
impatient or arrogant with others who only see things from their own perspective...
frustration in trying to be patient with ignorance was often overwhelming.
women do not want to be restricted by the roles that society has placed on them.
visual cues are affecting women individually and collectively, in how they view themselves in the mirror,
Not only are most magazines directed at women, but the ones that are directed towards men are about work and politics, not about how to improve your looks or behave decently with woman and
women’s self-worth and future potential.
In conclusion, the media along with other social institutions plays a large role in how women are viewed. A horrible example is being set for today’s youth, and men are taking the degradation of women in the media to the extremes, thinking that they can degrade women in everyday life as well. With the constant representation of women being viewed as nothing more than s*xual objects, women themselves are beginning to feel as though they have little or no potential, as well as no self worth. doh

Where did my dream come from?
It's your first day at new office and as you walk down the halls you notice that everyone is laughing and pointing at you. Suddenly you realize that you have no clothes on and panic sets in and BOOM…. you wake up and realize it was all just a dream. As you sit and discuss your dream with your friends at the lunch table, you can't help but wonder, what does it all mean? Such a situation could not possibly happen, so where could such a horrible idea come from? Many dream analysts, philosophers, psychologists, and interpreters have pondered this question for centuries. Can anyone truly find the source of dreams or even control them? There have been arguments, debates and volumes of written on various theories on the true source of dreams.
One author of many dream articles, supports the theory that deities or the gods send dreams themselves. which vary in each culture.

The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud....
According to Freud, dreams allow unconscious desires, fears or emotions to express themselves in a disguised way. Dreams are an expression of wish fulfilment communicating through symbols.

Freud is presenting a case study and explains his belief that there is a psychological technique that makes interpreting dreams possible,

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and so society has also possessed those how refuse to look forward, those who resisted the great thinkers in science and civilization....

The Intricate Mind of Sigmund was also a complex man that was a genius in his field. Sigmund Freud's studies, theories and techniques have developed his 'theory of dreams' to go further in his analysis.

Sigmund Freud was a pioneer within the field of psychology who developed multiple theories that introduced the world to the inner meanings of the human unconscious,
His theories on hypnotherapy, psycosexual development, and defense mechanisms gives people the ability to control and predict their future behavior. These theories, being recognized as some of the most remarkable for free thinkers and scientists..

spirit being stuck here...........

An earthbound spirit is a human spirit that has not properly passed over. They have not gone onto the next level, the light, heaven, whatever you choose to call it. They remain behind, here on earth, and they account for many ghost sightings and haunted places.

The reasons for this are varied. Some are complicated and unique to that spirit and others are simple to understand and relate too. I will discuss a few of the most common reasons that a spirit remains earthbound.

Some spirits remain at or near the site of their death, especially if it was sudden and unexpected. They remain confused and don't know or accept that they have died. These spirits remain in the area and try to make contact with anyone that passes by that is sensitive to spirits. This type of spirit can be found almost anywhere a death has occurred.

Sometimes a spirit realizes that it is dead and that life continues beyond that. They do not go to the light for reasons such as the fear that their existence will end, fear of the unknown, fear of going to hell or being judged for past deeds. These spirits are bound here because of their own fears.

Other spirits stay behind to take care of unfinished business. It may be to make sure their finances and their loved ones are ok or to pass along one final message. Often these earthbound spirits do not remain here for long, once they can complete their goal, they normally pass over. If the deed that they are attempting to finish is complicated they will often contact the living to assist them. In many cases the living are unsure of what the spirit wants and it adds to the length of the time the spirit spends here. Almost anything that a spirit feels compelled to do before it goes to the light can make it remain here until it feels comfortable with how they have left things.

Guilt can also be a reason for a spirit being stuck here. They may feel like they have left the family or loved ones too soon and uncared for. This is also the main reason why suicide victims and other spirits whose death was caused by their actions (alcoholics, drug overdose, etc) remain behind. They feel guilty over taking their life or contributing to their death.

The living can also hold a spirit here. By not letting go of them, they can be bound here by our love and unable or unwilling to go on until the living can come to terms with the loss. This happens when people go beyond the normal grieving process and become obsessed with the deceased person. They feel that they left things unsaid, undone, etc. and they feel guilt over it. This keeps the spirit from going over many times simply because it does not want us to feel this way or be that upset.

There are many other reasons that a spirit can remain earthbound, I have just touched on a few of the most commonly encountered ones here. wink

living with out food and water......

Is it possible for us to survive with no food and water? Doctors are trying to determine that as they are baffled by an Indian man who claims not to have eaten or drank anything for the last 70 years. What is even more shocking? He is in perfect health.

Prahlad Jani is a local to the Indian city of Ahmedabad and is claiming he has not consumed any food or liquids since he was 8-years old. He also claims to have been blessed at the age of 8 by a goddess. This allows him to survive without sustenance except for that which he derives from the practice of meditation.

From April 22nd until May 6th 2010 in the private hospital Sterling Hospital, Prahlad Jani was observed and tested by Sudhir Shah and a team of 35 researchers all from the Indian Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) and other organizations.

The large team studied Jani daily using clinical examinations, blood tests, and scans. 24 hour CCTV surveillance was used to ensure the maximum observation of Jani’s actions during the testing period. According to researchers, the only time Jani was taken out of his sealed room was for tests and exposure to sun. During these times, continuous video recording was done to ensure authenticity of results. Jani only had contact with any form of liquid when he had an occasional bathing session, which first took place on day 5, and when he would gargle some water. It is important to note that his toilet was sealed to test his claims that he did not urinate or defecate.

After the fifteen days of intensive observation during which Jani did not eat, drink or go to the toilet, all medical test results came back as normal and doctors described his health as being better than someone half his age. Interestingly, doctors reported that although the amount of liquid in Jani’s bladder fluctuated and that Jani appeared “able to generate urine in his bladder”, he did not pass any urine. The reported levels of Jani’ leptin and ghrelin, two appetite-related hormones, suggested that Jani may be demonstrating an extreme form of adaptation to starvation and water restriction.

Even after the 15 day examination, DIPAS is still interested in running tests on Jani to determine how metabolic waste material is eliminated from his body, where he gets his energy for sustenance, and how he maintains his hydration status.

The director of DIPAS believes that the results of Jani’s observations could “tremendously benefit mankind.” Professor Anil Gupta of SRISTI, involved in monitoring the tests, described the team as being “intrigued” by Jani’s kriyas apparently allowing him to control his body’s physiological functions.

Most people can live without food for several weeks, with the body drawing on its fat and protein stores. But the average human can survive for only three to four days without water. How is Jani able to achieve what he is achieving? Some believe that his access to bathing allowed him to store liquid in the body. Since the observation did not go on for longer than 15 days, some believe he might have eaten or drank after.

But Jani is not the first person to be tested with such claims. HRM, another Indian man, was tested for 411 days intensively after he claimed that he did not eat any food. While HRM did consume boiled water, during his 411 day observation it was confirmed that he did not eat during the period and yet his health was perfect.

American Dream:roll:

people(around the world) see America to be the land of opportunity and wealth, Politics had a lot to do with American society,

The American Way of Life - America is “considered” to be a land of opportunities, promises, independence, hope, and freedom. Anyone can grow up to be the President of the United States, member of Congress, or even become wealthy.

This is possible because all it takes is only hard work. However, this is nearly “just a dream” because equality doesn’t exist among everyone. The poor have little to do or no chance to get richer, while the rich remain rich.

ANY who American Dream would include a good job and lots of money, spare time for one's family and free moving, and most importantly, healthiness.

American Dream - First, let's define "American Dream" is what you would consider a "perfect life." It can be full of happiness, money, love, food, cars, whatever you desire, everyone has a different opinion.

But One person’s American Dream may be totally different from someone else’s, that is what makes us all individuals unique.

hollywood movies really made a positive impact, though not now and my
age experiance in life makes otherwise.....

Chaos reigns where once there existed reverence; rage has displaced peace. Some wicked force has corrupted the human hearts against their own human kind and, therefore, against their own best interests as well.

You're wondering: What is this place. What's different about it. Is it different, anymore.

America, for many, has long been a country where it was believed that you control your own destiny and prosperity. With hard work, persistence and struggle, success found in the “American Dream” can and will be achieved regardless of past social statuses and financial shortcomings. It is something that has rang true for most Americans, but certainly not without struggle and now??????????

After being stuck en route for an enormously long period of time, one would think that the destination had better be worth all the time spent getting there. Many people would say yes. Think about it. If you were on a journey which lasted months, possibly years of your life, you would want to arrive at your destination seeing the same thing you had dreamt of during the trip. What if, when you got there, you discovered that the dream was actually a myth. The American settlers discovered just that......
it is very clear that being American is more of a state of mind, a belief, and a course of action rather than physical characteristics or a race.

Good, the Bad and the Ugly......are everywhere........i am still
interested in an american....

inner voice.......

Embedded image from another site

I have always tried to listen to that little, inner voice to guide me in my decisions on serious as well as frivolous questions.

I think we all have a little voice inside us that will guide us. It may be God, I don’t know. But I think that if we shut out all the noise and clutter from our lives and listen to that voice, it will tell us the right thing to do. — Christopher Reeve.

The heart knows what it wants,
and it often makes no sense.
Intuition, creativity, and
listening are all imperative
in creating an inspired life. Jonathan H. Ellerby.

doubt is also good

Doubt is the middle ground between blind acceptance and outright refusal to believe. Doubt lends itself to a certain uncomfortable feeling of questioning but is a necessary tool to reach perceived truth and knowledge. Without doubt, one would believe anything he or she is told; it is a natural filter for the information thrust upon us. Doubt is in some ways the opposite of faith. Faith insinuates an acceptance so powerful that one does not need evidence to back up one’s claim. The lack of evidence does not bother the faithful, but it will pester the doubter like an insatiable itch. But the specter of doubt looms over the doubter, demanding that questions be asked of whatever “fact” has been presented. The doubter will use the four ways of knowing—emotion, reason, language, and sense perception—to answer the questions and become a knower. Doubt is especially necessary in two areas of knowledge: history and human sciences. When studying history, one must doubt the stories presented as facts and consider possible distortions created by biases or the passage of time.

now with out doubt.....it is me cmiyerlaugh tongue wink
