Vision of Love

In the beginning, God created man and then from the man's rib he created him a mate. This process is done before we are born, and throughout our lives we naturally seek out our missing half.
When we are joined together as one, we have our full "glass" of his Love. When we are separated, at birth, we each take with us, half of this blessing. When a couple is lucky enough to find their soul ate and join together in the material world they have the opportunity to be whole once again.

A naive young man whose only goodness from his last relationship was the two beautiful children he had been blessed with, lost his faith in Love as he had not yet experienced it. God intervened, as he is wont to do when his children have lost their way. A vision of ultimate loveliness was presented before the man to tantalize his spirit. Both individuals had suffered the hurts of their respective worlds and had fallen low in spirit, believing it their fates to be challenged for every good thing. The two fell quickly in love, and became as one. True soul mates, repairing each other's damages that had marked their lives. Healed from within by God's hand, their love burned brighter than a star. Alas, as darkness always lingers round the flickering edges of light, it eventualy found its way to wear down this new light. Grasping flaring shadows of doubt and disillusionment dulled the light and it no longer filled the man and woman with the fullness they knew they once had. Memories of past hurts pushed the lovers into walled fortresses built in their past, that they had thought gone forever. Distance allowed their twin flames of love to dwindle and separate, making them easier targets for the looming blackness. Suffering from neglect and the mirrored pangs of hurt from memory, they two grew separate. The woman feeling neglected for far too long, took to her nature, and decided to wander away and lose herself in travel and their precious son. The man watched brokenheartedly as she walked out their door and his life, too afraid to leave the protection of his sheltering fortress to fight for his one true love. In despair at havig lost his soulmate, he pined for the return of the taste of what they had.
Angrily, he broke into heaven to steal the love God had once given him. Entering God's workshop where he creates his children, the man found a golden heart, and the most bountiful spirit. He cast his ideal female form from the finest ivory with locks of spun gold. Eyes of glittering pale sapphires endowed with the power and light of the very stars in heaven, and a mind filled with reason, joy, determination, loyalty, and caring. He put all the parts together triumphantly sure of his treachery and found to his eternal shame that the woman before him was the woman he had lost.
The moral of this parable is that God knows what is right for each of his children and will always give them what they truly need. We were put together out of myriad impossibilities through the guidance of his hand, and I could not live knowing I had never tried to fight for the gift of love he graced us with.
This picture is the vision I would have were I the young thief. I love you sweetheart. Please find your way home.

I already posted this on the forum but it appears to have been disregarded as to response. Maybe the wrong place to post. Hoping for some response to this slice of my heart.
