Boom !! Over 100 babies delivered in two stretches totaling 91 hours at Fort Worth hospital

FORT WORTH, Texas — Over a total of more than 90 hours combined, Andrews Women's Hospital in Fort Worth delivered 107 babies, officials say.

The baby boom took place over two two-day periods, one starting June 24 and another beginning June 28.

In the first 47-hour period, 25 girls and 27 boys were delivered, hospital officials said.

The second period, over the course of 44 hours, resulted in the birth of 55 babies, including a set of twins. It also broke the hospital's record number of deliveries in 2018, which began exactly three years prior.

Hospital officials said they average around 16 deliveries per day. In 2020, Andrews Women's Hospital delivered 6,000 babies, including 100 twins and two triplets.

Hospital officials said six baby girls were named Gianna. Other popular names include Reign for girls and Atlas and Daniel for boys.

The hospital is located at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth.

Russian babushkas defending Britney

Apparently, these grandmas often go viral in Russia for defending totalitarian Vladimir Putin against his political foes.

If you could have predicted an alliance between Russian senior citizens who grew up under the USSR and Britney fans in the U.S., you probably should go play the lottery.

What a wild time to be alive!

In Historic First, WNBA Player Comes Out As Straight

PORTLAND, OR—In a development that many are calling the most stunning and brave thing to ever happen in the world of sports, a WNBA point guard has come out as heterosexual.

The player, Megan Frederickson, has been playing for the Portland Fire for the last four years. She's broken many records over her short career, becoming the first player to score three baskets in a game, the first player to go over sixty seconds without a total air ball, and the first player to play a whole game without bursting into tears. She even got a record twelve fans to tune in to one of her games.

But now, she's shattering her most significant barrier yet, becoming the first out heterosexual player in the league.

Frederickson came out to her fans and teammates in an emotional video posted to TikTok Thursday.

"I was staring at myself in the mirror and I suddenly realized I just can't hide who I am anymore," she said. "I have to be true to myself. I can't pretend to be a lesbian anymore just because it's what's expected of me. I'm sick of this homonormative culture in this league. It's time for me to really be me."

Frederickson's wife is broken up but says she understands and supports the player's choice to live out her truth in a heterosexual relationship.

CNN is currently combing through her social media history looking for old racist tweets.

Unlikely Duets

Every now and then 2 performers will get together for a duet version of a song. The song I've chosen involves 2 great acts but their styles are are completely opposite of each others.

My selection features Celine Dion and Joe Walsh.

Even though Joe doesn't sing, I still think it is an odd pairing.

What strange combo of duets can you come up with ?

Are there 2 Presidents in this photo?

A remarkable photograph purportedly showing a “young Vladimir Putin” spying on US President Ronald Reagan in 1988 has resurfaced online.

Embedded image from another site

Putin would be the man behind the young boy with a camera around his neck.

The incredible image was shared on Instagram by Pete Souza, a photographer who worked at the White House under the Reagan and Obama administrations.

It was taken during Reagan’s visit to Moscow in 1988 and appears to show a young Putin posing as a tourist to get close to the US leader.

Writing alongside the striking image, Souza detailed the story behind it and the reasons that have led him to believe the man pictured is, indeed, Putin.

“In 1988, I photographed President Reagan during his visit to Moscow,” he begins.

“Mikhail Gorbachev, the leader of the then Soviet Union, gave Reagan a tour of Red Square where groups of “tourists” (KGB agents?) were positioned around the square.”

In the photograph, President Reagan can be seen shaking hands with a young boy.

Several men are surrounding the US President, however Souza urged followers to “note the man on the left with the camera around his neck.”

Incredibly, the photographer only picked up on the potential significance of the image more than a decade after he first took it.
