You can take a self made millionaire & a poor guy and drop them both off in a strange city with $5k each to start a new life.
10 yrs later the former millionaire will probably be a millionaire again & the poor guy will probably be poor again.
It's the person & the mindset that makes the difference. Even if we took all the wealth & divided it up equally amongst everyone. Given enough time most the money would be back where it was before it was divided up. Some might call bullsh*t. I say the people that do complain a lot & have a lot of excuses.
Today is the 144th running of The Kentucky Derby. It dates back to 1875. The winner of that race was Aristides and the jockey was Oliver Lewis. The most wins by a jockey is 5 with Eddie Arcaro and Bill Hartack each achieving that feat. I went to the race in 1997 and saw Silver Charm win the run for the roses.
