Separated??? What does it mean to you??

I know someone who claims to be 'separated' from his wife for the past 8 years. She and the kids (minors) live in one country and he in another. He visits about 6 times a year and when there, lives in his wife's house but does not share the same bedroom, so he claims. He says the kids are the reason he has done nothing to formalise the separation legally.

I can't wrap my head around this.....can you???

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Sometimes GOD breaks our spirit to save our soul.
Sometimes HE breaks our hearts to make us whole.
Sometimes HE allows pain so we can be stronger.
Sometimes HE sends us failure so we can be humble.
Sometimes HE allows illness so we can take better care of ourselves.
Sometimes HE takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything HE gave us.
Make plans, but understand that we live by HIS grace.

Do "Separated" folks need to be avoided???

I find that some people are wary about being in touch with folks who are 'separated' - legally, mentally, physically, etc. etc. My question here is 'why'??? There are many, many 'separated' folks on CS who are very clear about their intentions - I'm one. If we clearly state that we are just looking to make friends, chat, email - why would you avoid us??

The case of the disappearing profiles

TWICE in the past 2 weeks I've responded to mails - one from new york and the other from colorado....BUT....when I went back to my mail box - they had disappeared...TOTALLY. Even the mail I had sent them was not in my out-box. Is it only ME or has anyone else experienced this?

I know that sometimes people delete their profiles - but right after getting a response from me???? Wow!! That's some effect!!
