Wow! pens...
My office provides ball point pens in black, blue and red.I won't mention a brand name, but they are called Wow!
Unless the paper you write on is a writing tablet, you have a good chance it will skip.
Anything that came through a laser printer is prone to make these pens skip.
I was in a client meeting and my pen wasn't cooperating with me. I pulled out a spare and it did the same.
Not getting angry, I remarked "It's my Wow! pen"
My client looked puzzled and I explained while pointing to the scribbles on the edge of the paper (trying to get it to write)
When this happens, I say "Wow, what a horrible pen."

Plus, now they find that the workers make less mistakes.
Government Pens: because now they work, now they don't now they do, now they don't etc
or Morse pens: draw a straight line and it looks like Morse code...
