I was homeless some years ago with a husband and two sons who were very young at that time.But with some help that we had received we slowly but surely got back on our feet again.We also had to start over again.When my two sons who are now adults living on their own I was a parent volunteer and sponsored a clothing closest for the school children who had been in need of school clothing and such.I also paid for and cooked a whole Christmas dinner with all the usual fixings out of my late husband's and I's income for over 300 students who may not have had a holiday meal.

We have what they refer to here in the states that I live in as homeless camps of men and women alike who live in tents.The city has given those people two days in which to move out of the area where they are now.I guess the city thinks that if the homeless keep moving from places around the city that they will somehow someway just disappear.

knowledge Below is a blog topic that I had created explaining how the Indian Children had been mistreated at the boarding where my Ancestry attended.Unfortunately I had no prior knowledge before hand what had happened to my ancestry cause my father even though he was American Indian had passed on not to long after my 10th birthday.My mother who rarely if ever spoke about her ancestry.I never learned in the White mans schools anything about how Indians had been mistreated or their land which was rightly their had been taken away.But I did learn from a Indian Tribal community just recently what the Mt.Pleasant Boarding had been actually used for.Small children between the ages of 4 years old had been forcefully yanked out of their homes and placed in many different boarding schools throughout the world.They never saw their parents nor were they allowed to go home during some summer vacation as most school children do today.I ran across two letters one written from a mother asking the person in charge of a boarding school if her daughter could come home for summer break and also a letter from a Indian children to her mother but the mail never reached the mother of that children.I don't hate the white man cause it would go against what my late mother had taught me when I was a small child.Hate is a pretty strong word anyway.It won't bring back those small Indian school children who died on that boarding school property.

I have never watched tv in my life! sure I've watch a movie at the cinema, but never the tv, I read and research Bear, I used the net just to learn that's it, you'd be amazed how much you can learn when there's no distractions, and I will continue to learn as much as I can for as long as I can.

@ knowledge Strange cause I learned about the boarding school issue from documentation that I had found at a local library in my home state and later on from the Saginaw Tribal community who owns the boarding school property and then I ran across a link on a website where it mentioned the boarding school and the tribe.

So you really didn't learn about the Native Americans in school either.
