What has what Obama may or may not have done got to do with what Trump may or may not have done? Does the American justice system attribute innocence or guilt according to whether someone else might have done something worse?

I am merely pointing out the obvious, so I will have to explain that to you. The subject is journalism, or in the case of favoring one party over another, 'Yellow Journalism' which mainstream media has always picked sides.

If you are saying that news media should not be biased then I agree. Fox news comes to mind as one example of a biased news outlet.
