Ghosting your date, can be illegal !

I recall a couple of former blogs on here recounting "ghosting" as a method to deal with a date,
that wasn't quite up to expectations.
One seemed to think it was OK and the other was left somewhat puzzled at the experience.
Well, here's an extreme example of a serial ghosting practitioner, who ghosted dates with the intent
of consuming expensive meals without paying.

Ever have anything like this happen to you ? dunno

I urge that the first meeting be in public and planned to be brief without finances being involved.
Then, one can decide if an actual date is appropriate. If not, make sure you are not followed
when leaving.

It´s never happened to me, personally, but I´ve heard of some people who had.

Also, I have a friend who always makes the habit of going to the bathroom when we´ve finished the meal and it´s time to pay, leaving me to take care of the bill.

I told her that next time I will leave and tell the waiter that my friend will pay when she gets out.!!!laugh
Ghosting, though, generally - a bit like a 'friend' borrowing $50 and you never see them again. Cheap at the price, really.
Yeah, I wouldn't go to any expensive restaurant on a first date either.

But ghosting generally is one of the most cowardly things anybody can do.

M - I agree.
D - Are you SURE she's a friend ?

Yes she's a friend I've known for 10 years but...money for her is a great evil.devil

She says she doesn't do it on purpose and she's not aware of it.grin
Apparently, YOUR money is not a great evil though. laugh
