Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? Or that things that happen as the result of our own choices? Most often than not we strive for a better life but along the way we tend to ask why?

Now for your question.Yes I believe most things happen for a reason so I used to hear.We either learn from the experiences or we don't.
" The Decisions That Youve Made"
"And Those Decisions?"
"Become Your Destiny"...............................
Our own choices in life guides us thru the answer at times.Along our journey we realized "this was it" that usually answers why?
Thank you again for dropping by
Life is short embrace and enjoy what we have
In my experience beieve me fear was there for many years that wad holding me back that made me not to pursue my dreams but in the long run of my struggle I have to let go it now better and wiser because I chosed it ...wherever will take me to a destiny tha God wants me to be
"Example"
"All Those Mostly Young Men That Died In Vietnam?
"They Had A Girl Waiting For Them..... When They Got Back"
"But They Never Came Back...Alive That Is"
"So Those Ladies Met Other Young Men..Married...And Had Children"
"If Those Men Never Died In Vietnam?
"All Of Those Children That Were Born From New Husbands/Men?"
"Would Not Exist Today.................................
We usually fail in life when we allow others to make choices for us
"All Of Those Children That Were Born From New Husbands/Men?"
"Would Not Exist Today.................................
I don't believe in destiny, we all have the choice to make choices, good or bad, the result of our choice then leads to more choices.
We usually fail in life when we allow others to make choices for us.
As I have stated earlier our choices leads us to where our destiny lies
The people we know and even the people we don't know can have an impact on the way our decisions are turned into reality...or not...
The weather, the broken car, the missed flight...the old woman that needed help and made us late , they all change our destiny...
Those who say everything happens for a reason use that excuse to make themselves feel better.
I believe in BOTH. Things happen as a consequence of our choices, hence they happen for a reason.
Maybe it´s something that we have been subconsciously putting some thought into - remember, thoughts are very powerful!
Or, it may be the reason for some of our actions?
Remember that things do not happen TO us,..... but FOR us! In order to teach us lessons and for us to learn and grow.
I believed things happens for a reason. But then, we should not only sit back, to wait and see, what's the reason. We do need to fight for the present, so we would not feel that regrets.
God designed the world for us, the same as He design or programmed us more advanced than computers. All we need to do is have that faith and Trust Him...
People believe that destinies can be changed. I mean, yeah, sure, but whatever happens, happen. I find it can give people hope they didn’t have. I enjoy freedom and openness to my life, rather than some event in the future hanging over my head until it happens.
I like how u perceive things
Just wanna add here is meaning to all events.....moving to a new state or country. Meeting a wife, husband, having kids, just by chance running across a stranger who would change the course of your life....make you better at serving others, making you less selfish, maybe getting you into politics...who knows.
BUT we have free-will. Do you want to say no to the door that's open to you? It's your choice. Why did that door open for YOU and not someone else?
Destiny? Luck? I DON'T THINK SO.
Believe me...I have had thousands of these "daily miracles".When I was in poverty and I asked God for help....LITERALLY I walked to the mailbox, and there was a letter with money in it! I am not kidding" ! Old tax refund, from my dad's, strange, strange, strange. FAITH intuitive enough to see the GOOD in the event...and say "O.k. what is this teaching me or telling me or directing me/" The answer is always there...if one stop complaining and just listen.
Yes we should not stop hoping and keep our faith intact. He is the only Almighty
that guides our path and to do our part.
Blessed those who believe
I am saying ‘ you ’ , and only you have the power to make “everything happens for a reason ” stand true .
You have the power to make yourself a reason to justify why everything that happened has a reason .
You can either use it as a Motivation to get back up or you can use it as an excuse .....
Now , you can decide whether ‘everything happens for reason’ is true .
Yes and its always your choice if you open that door. You will never know what
woul d it be like that would make u
someone someday
Yes agree. When it happen it will hsppen either by choice or not
It is absurd and wishful thinking of a better life without earning it.
Very complex
There are statement that if u ramble it gives different interpretation
" The mind makes a nice story about something that happened. Or it makes a nice story about something it anticipates. In the first case it's reactive. In the second case it shapes the conditions for future happenings.
Take driving a car for example. Many things happen unconscious. Controlling speed, shifting gears, breaking. Yet other things are thought out: complex situations, seeking directions. In the first we create the story afterwards, in the latter we partly determine the story. " your action +choice goes hand in hand
And my conclusion as religion is concerned yes it is one's choice
faith that matters anyway.
I also think wrong things happen for right reasons and for all that seems/appear bad, good will come of/from it... if even not for ourselves.
