Question for plus-sized females.
I have a question for all plus-sized women. As a man who honestly prefers bbws over petite women, I do notice that when a profile says "plus-sized", the photos sometimes appear older from years ago or cropped from the neck down. Why do I see this so often with plus-sized women ?I do understand that many men are looking for barbie dolls, I get that. However for us men who are looking for a relationship with a plus-sided lady, could I ask some of you to post recent photos / not be afraid to show your body ? ( I say that with respect, as a man who simply wants to see a photo of a possible love interest. )

Well, I can only speak for myself...
As a plus-size, I am not confident enough to show the lower part of my body especially my huge mid-section and my short and stubby legs. I have thunder thighs and unsightly cankles
That left me with only my face to show to potential suitors and I resorted to photoshop.
I added on ‘eyebrows’. I made my eyes bigger and brighter. Slimmer nose and face. Photoshopped away all the blemishes and scars.
It seemed to work coz I did reel Arthur in and when he met me in the airport for the first time....he nearly died!
One good thing in life is...people will accept us for who we are, despite our imperfections.
When you said, older from years ago, or cropped from neck down, ...simple English but quite puzzled me..they really showed their plus sized figure...meaning they are confident of themselves...no insecurities..that's a good sign...

I'm petite, guys I've dated recently goes to the gym everyday and have nice body, it does encourage me to stay fit and healthy too. Have nothing against a plus-sized people, I respect everyone big and small but being fit and healthy makes me happier and less cranky.

I agree, all sizes are great, for one size does not fit all. ....as far as health, part of the problem is the food industry, they should put a brake on all the unhealthy fattening food dominating grocery shelves and concentrate on healthy choices.
But no, greed prevails.
I would think the main reason they don't have full body shots is they don't want to open themselves up to ridicule from others.
If they describe themselves as large or curvy, then take it that they are, and contact them. You can exchange pics privately when both of you feel comfortable doing that.
Believe me, no woman will say they are large if they are not. They are more likely to downsize themselves, not upsize.
As far as plus-sized ladies posting photos, there really is an unspoken fact that some do not post photos because "some men won't like them". That is factual, to be honest. The point of my original post was to remind the ladies that the men "who won't like them" are the men which they do not need in their lives to begin with.
