3 for the love of nature 1
One of the things I enjoy is nature.I used to post nature photos on CS a while back.
I'm thinking of perhaps doing it again on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis,
depending upon the level of interest.
For now, here's 3 of my photos. Let me know which of the 3 you prefer the most, if you don't mind.
1 - Soaring bald eagle;
2. Cormorant caught a fish
3. Sunset over the Raritan River, NJ
That's enough for now.

I love the sunset too
implies there would be sunrise after the sunset or vise versa
Since the sunset is a popular choice, I will post another in my next set of 3.
Are prof photographer seems your angle is well focused
bald eagles soaring very low to the bridge looking for fish. It's an awesome sight.
Once in Florida I got within about 50 yards of a male, female & juvenile bald eagle
perched in a tree before some guy & his kid drove up to me in a gas powered golf cart
asking me to take pictures of them and scared the birds off.
Here in NJ I know where there is a nest. Indeed, it's the 5th nest they've made,
The former 4 were destroyed by storms. The 4th one was destroyed by the first snow
storm we got last year. They were in that nest since Hurricane Sandy destroyed the
previous nest. I have been following that couple for about 10 years to different nests.
I don't get too close, so they don't mind me,
One time last year's fledgeling showed up to the nest, all happy to see mom
and she screamed at it to get the heck away from her new brood.
I could see the surprise on the yearling's face before it took the hint and left.
However, I have never had the opportunity to see 7 at once.
I do at some point want to travel where about 50 congregate in MD.
Y - yes. I do models, weddings, parties, etc.. and the thing that is most challenging is wildlife,
and thus, that is what I enjoy most.
Have you seen how they use the cormorants to fish in Guilin, China?
I didn’t know it was that difficult to get good shots.....
Being my ignorant self again
So, I also have to have an appropriate shutter speed, aperature setting, K settings, and ISO beforehand.
Shooting in automatic gives average photos. When one actually selects the exact right settings
of each for the actual object you want to show, it works more rarely in spontaneous settings, but much more stunning.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing more pics taken by you
Love the many vibrant colours on the bird and the duck!
Love the jellyfish!!! They make very yummy sesame jellyfish salad!
Oh! Did I spot a manatee in one of them pics?
I like them all. Good job!
Although Sunset is always my favorite, but somehow among those three,
I think I like the "Cormorant caught a fish" more. You captured that object the best.
My caption for that one would be "When one life ends, the other survives"
a Chanel bag.
Your pick, Art honey
Love the caption!
I love any action photo as they are so much harder to catch
The only pic I took recently was of a cute looking snail on a wall on my way to work. Not really an action shot
