High to Canadians

Today pot became legal in Canada.
Canada is only the second nation to legalize marijuana.
It is no longer illegal to carry up to 30 grams of pot in Canada.
Where it can be legally bought depends upon which providence you are in.
However, mostly it can only be smoked at home.
In some providences it can be smoked wherever tobacco can be smoked.
But, that's next to nowhere in public.
It is illegal to transport marijuana into Canada and out of Canada.
However, you are likely to fly higher leaving Canada, laugh

It is likely that other countries will follow Canada's lead in legalization of marijuana.
It leads to more tax revenue for the government, less money for illegals,
more controlled over the substance, and lower prices for consumers.

Whether it leads to more health risks and accidents is debatable. dunno

Psssst up here we refer to them as a province or you can use the word pluralized as provinces, just rolling a celebratory refer and smoking it out on my deck as the local finest drive by and we wave lol.........tongue banana
Whoops. Sorry about the mistaken area label. doh
Yeah, those are good things. thumbs up
Flights within Canada we are allowed to carry up to 30 grams as carry on, no need to pack away in the luggage........
I'm GREEN with envy
Saw on our local news the mile-long queue waiting to purchase some of the herb. Here its been legal for a few months now.
I don't smoke too often, mostly late at night a few nights a week. Helps with the numbness in the hands from waking me up. I do grow my own so no need to buy any. Currently a nice Bubba Kush Pre 98 strain at about 10% thc and a Polynesian Thin Mint at 22-28 % thc. Totally organic including the soil........cheers
*Bubba Kush 19% not !0 lol
The green green. Weed has become legal in South Africa. Now just imagine, the teacher, police and the politicians will be as plunged in on very high voltage,. Weed, We thought there was chaos, watch this space. The South. African weed is very potent, not only in the weed form, but in the oil form they smoke with electronic cigarettesfrustrated lips
Can not help to notice the difference....Canada had everything in place before they legalized it....South Africa...well no one knows yet. You can smoke and grow it in the privacy of your own home does not say much. It seems like you may not buy or sell or transport it....so you better grow your own if you want to smoke it.
Got a sativa today to try. Its called Donegal and at 20% THC, its strong. Musty earthy smell and taste.
Also, these O Canada researchers might work on the documented problems in youth on chronic regular weed. Points lost in cognitive testing, amotivational syndromes and in a measurable subgroup, psychosis that may be a forerunner of schizophrenia, especially in youth with genetic loading for such. Doubt it? Just catch the craziness in my rants. In college days, four finger twigless ounces of red Panamanian, went for under $20. Nuff said.
