You can't make this stuff up.....but some people apparently do.

There's a woman who CLAIMS she's had sex with at least 20 ghosts. rolling on the floor laughing
Wait, there's more. According to her, she's now engaged to a ghost and wants to start a family with him. roll eyes
What ? A few of you believe in the VIRGIN Mary. laugh

From the New York Post (talk about "Fake News !")

I don't know who she dated before, but it's really bad, when they don't perform as well as an apparition. rolling on the floor laughing
I do believe lots of spirits are involved with her, but they are the kind one drinks. wine

I heard of this today on the radio (obvious gap filler).
One less ghost in Australia.
Wonder if he past thru customs ok.
She must be pretty lucky to have a spare seat next to her on the plane.
I've just read your last post again Riz, and had another thought, or two.

"...as we just don’t know if someone with a mental condition, that on the surface appears harmless, but deep inside, maybe could be triggered to do something extraordinary and possibly harmful..."

We don't know if someone without a mental illness who on the surface appears harmless, but deep inside, maybe could be triggered to do something extraordinary and possibly harmful.

I can't help thinking we're getting into Minority Report territory here, which, whilst an interesting philosophical brain-teaser, is somewhat clouded by prejudice if only people deemed to have mental health issues are targeted.

It also seems reminiscent of unmarried mothers being locked up in psychiatric institutions. It was societal values, fears and discomfort which lead to that shameful part of our history. Can we let our fears, values and discomfort lead us to repeat those infringements on human rights?
@ Jac

I am not fearful of mental illness, my ex-wife was diagnosed with chronic depression and my mother had dementia, both could be frightening, but mainly because they could hurt themselves rather than others, although my mother did set fire to the kitchen once, as she forgot she was cookinggrin
We are in 2018, we should have a better understanding of minds and how to help those who "stray" from the norm.
It takes all kinds. There is also a woman who claims she is married to Tyler Perry, even tho she has never met him. She was on Dr. Phil.
Fear of, and prejudice towards mental illness, or alternative belief systems is ingrained in our cultures and minds. It takes effort to examine our responses and rationalise them.

It takes effort to not jump to the idea that someone who is away with the fairies has a higher potential to cause harm than someone who tows the party line.

The deeper levels of conditioning, the less obvious ones, can be more harmful, but just as irrational as the seemingly bizarre postulations of an alternative thinker.
Interesting thoughts, but after midnight here and I have a lot of travelling to do tomorrow and a busy weekend, will get back when I can, thank you Jac for your insight, I am really interested in this subject but as I said, I have very little knowledge regarding phycology.
Lets just say, that I'm not shopping for her baby's gift just yet. roll eyes
However, on the positive side, the delivery of a baby ghost should be a lot easier than a C-section. laugh
I had a C-section...and an experience which left me somewhat ghostly.

Having come so close to death (the anaesthetic didn't work, it hurt a bit, when pain becomes unbearable the body very kindly goes on strike) I have come to believe that in life we underestimate the magnitude of life and death, not to mention the power of the mind.
Once upon a time one could say pretty much anything - abducted by aliens, ridden a dragon, had fairies at the bottom of the garden - and people shrugged it off, pretty much. So long as the person concerned wasn't hurting anyone, who cared - or as was once famously said, "I don't care what they do, so long as they don't do it in the street and frighten the horses"

Sign of the times that the media would even pick up on a story like this, and readers of the story will hotly debate it? Some journalists need to get a life.

She's either attention-seeking or believes it. If the former, well done, she has attention for her quite original idea. If the latter, oh well.

So long as they don't do it in the street and frighten the horses.

(Jac - thumbs up for your other comment on t'other blog. I didn't want to carry on chatting there.)
It must have been a quiet news day that day.
Molly, bet if we put our heads together we could put the fake into fake news laugh
Biff, there is a lot of competition for fake news out there now. It would have been easier a few years ago laugh
I know which one you mean, Biff, tip hat
I think im gonna start a dating site for apparitions....at least the blank pics will fit in nicely and nobody will ever question why someone has no pic up......giggle
The probability of that site making a profit, is a ghost of a chance. laugh
Yep, JN. How about those folks (mostly women it seems) who have crushes on incarcerated criminals---often lifers?!?!
I finally have my site online in the 7th dimension....its going well and I have matched many humans to their significant spiritual other....so you will probably being hearing more stories like this when they come outta the closet and go BOO......crazy
