Well, you SAID my most favorite song, EVER! This comes close, if it's not it:

(Time for some of the younguns to take a trip back in time! This song is best with headphones; LOTS of overdubs!)

Aw, have a Heart, guys! This one (for now, anyway) comes in second:

Also good with headphones. Nice instrumental harmony, and excellent timing between vocals, guitars and drums.

Hey Bentlee....how you been man? Anyways here it is....best to plug into an external sound system and turn up as loud as possible, as the source volume is quite low.

Hello Phyllis. Kumasta ka?......always good to hear from you.purple heart .....It has been a minute Bentlee.....all is well on this side, thanks....hope all is well with you too brother....great post seriously, there are so many topics that get posted that are either divisive or highly controversial/debatable, yet music remains a great topic for discussion to help people find the things that they might have in common, rather than what separates them. I feel it a true testament to the lovely power of music, and I commend you for posting such a topic inviting inquiries from everyone on every corner of the globe.......err. actually now that I think about it, does the globe have corners?......
Got a pack of cigarettes, 25 in a deck
But I know this is not gonna stop your problems
But don't you take a pick
By those you could step closer to the edge my dear
I'd only seen my thoughts, I'm drowning in the unclear
I got a penny for your thoughts
I got that what about
I got a message for them always
I got a message for myself
I got a different point of view
Laughing in that deep blue sky
See I found myself sitting there when I was getting high
I own the permanent vacation to the soul
And I don't feel like working my fingers to the bone
And I fly like the bird above all other bullshit
And I’m looking down, on myself, the start of all of the good shit
And I know, I know, I know just come in my bed
And I know, I know, I know it's coming my way
I know sometimes when it’s raining down on me
And I wish that I couldn’t see some things I didn’t want to see
No, you're not gonna be the one to run my eagle
No no, I'd rather leave my base
Out the door and let it all go
I got a penny for my thoughts
I got a dollar for my blouse
I got a message for the lover
I got a message for myself
Now don't you know I gotta live
I wanna be without you in that deep blue sky
See I found myself sitting there when I was getting high
I own the permanent vacation to the soul
And I don't feel like working my fingers to the bone
And I fly like the bird above all other bullshit
And I’m looking down, on myself
The start of all of the good shit
And I know, I know, I know just come in my bed
And I know, I know, I know it's coming my way

As most say, hard to pick number one, but Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers is certainly near the top.

Riders On The Storm by The Doors. I just love it and listening to Morrison sing.

heart beating

Pink moon | light the darkest room | so I’ll find my way | put the records on
Play my favourite song | wipe the dust away | carry that weight | I miss the motion
Bury your heart | in the deepest ocean | and I will tremble | quivering hands
I sink like quick sand, oh | blinded by the light | putting up one hell of a fight
Weightless in the water | don’t care what they taught ya | no I don’t care | no I don’t | no I don’t | I don’t care | and no I don’t care

Cause I’m going crazy, again
Cause I’m going crazy, again

Pink moon | light the darkest room | so I’ll unhinge my brain | send me on a soul train
Kiss away the pain | it all feels the same | put the kettle on | coffee high for fun
Cut the noose, run away | you’re running with the wind | winter soon ends
And I’m buckling in my shins | blinded by the light | put up one hell of a fight
Weightless in the water | don’t care what they taught ya | no I don’t care | no I don’t | no I don’t
No, no, no, no | cause I don’t care | no I don’t care | and no I don’t care | no I don’t care cause I’m going crazy | again,
Thanks Bentlee. When all is said and done, tg his is my calming and very powerful music for me.

"Morning has Broken" by Cat Stevens as well as "The Last Resort" by the Eagles followed by "My Last Breath" by Creed.

Then "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd;
"Desperado" by the Eagles.

Thank you Bentlee my friend.

Christian, all is good here. Retired finally this year and driving around the nation visiting friends and relatives.

Was going to Asia the first if this month but had to reschedule it, was so sick during the supposed flight day. Too much rain in Texas where I was. Just got back in Cali.
wave
And then there's THIS one! (Led Zep--A definite "go to".)
I have many favorites, here's one.
