Nothing....they're so far out in left field they couldn't tell you what inning it is. While President Trump keeps scoring run after run the peanut gallery is covering 'chaos' theory and the tabloid section of the National Enquirer. Yeah they have so much to report...the goings on and outs of the administration, what hooker slept with Trump in 1994 and the 100's of virgins they claim he raped, their Hail Mary hope for the Mullet investigation. They seize on every morsel of the daily muse hoping something sticks. The hate, the obsession so palpable they cannot see how he has kept his promises to the country. But the people do and his support keeps growing.
The Heritage foundation came out with a report that President Trump has already completed 64% of his campaign agenda, far more than even Reagan. Yet the downstream media refuses to cover ANY of his accomplishments, not one. They are intent on destroying one man no matter how it effects the country. And all because they got it all wrong and backed another token candidate, (the boon and a loon/woman) that they had all their money bet on, as well as their credibility.
Tax cuts for a record surpassing economy, trade barriers and tariffs, (even China coming on board as their economy is in recession), North Korea, ISIS, border security (the wall is now on the table and will likely be a big bargaining chip), jobs and unemployment for minorities, deregulation, our veterans, renewed pride and confidence in America, and that's the short list.

No more token presidents... ....no more PC, no more life participation trophies for the whiny amoebas on the left. You are officially out of the loop, liberals have become personas non gratis, an endangered species we are bent on making extinct. We control two branches, the most long lasting effective ones and we'll add to that for the next 8 years. (Demos won't get a shot at the Senate until 2026).
So crow about winning the midterms, by tradition you scraped by. Forget about legislation, you have no policy agenda save trying to resurrect osamacare and the party is so fractured even hrc is trying to become a moderate. Celebrate now because its going to be a short lived win. MAGA

There's more than enough to pay the debt. Personal income tax and payroll tax is a very large part of those revenues. Try some actual numbers and ask yourself WTF those criminals in congress are spending our money on that we have so much debt?

Curbing illegal immigration and enforcing the laws would save hundreds of billions and more in the long run. Just one example.
Our military is important. Does it really need almost 25% of the annual budget?
What about all of these government programs on the books? Why are they there when there are many that can be closed?
Congress certainly should be taking pay cuts but they're in charge so that won't happen.

Two important questions to ask are 1) is American business getting any better at business? and 2) Can you afford to pay your own way?
When the answer is "no" to both of the above then all that glitters is not gold. I'm suspicious of the business investment happening now because it's not improving the business, it would seem that MAGA is built on having a mega Christmas that drives China deeper into the black. The economy looked great in the 2000s so long as you ignored debt and productivity which is to say you ignore both your ability to pay and your ability to do things.

They're going to try rolling back more policies because they'll want their crumbs back. Most likely to help pay for the illegal immigrants they choose over their own constituents. That's about a good $80-100+ billion dollars a year. Use it for the wall, enforce the laws, and we could save trillions in the long run. Less man power for border security..etc.
We'll see more omnibus bills. Most likely they still won't touch any thing in mandatory spending because they could trim a lot there. Leave the actual retirees social security and health benefits alone, I hope. They've already ripped the nation off enough with the $2 trillion+ "borrowed" from funds they have basically stolen from the people.
They'll try to enforce more regulation for the lie of global warming. The climate has been changing since the dawn of the planet so they have nothing reasonable to argue with in a simple "nomenclature".
We've already been saved more than a couple of trillion dollars just from being pulled out of the Paris agreement.

Today the Fed Chairman made a few remarks on future interest rate increases. Trump has been very critical of Jerome Powell and it would seem Trump has gotten into his head, so to speak. Powell may be feeling the pressure when he announced today that rates would increase for December but thereafter they may take a 'pause' in future rate increases. The market immediately responded with a 600 + point increase reflecting investors embracing more risk to be taken in their purchasing. The prospect of one rate increase in December (somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.2 % which is close to the 'neutral' rate which essentially has the least effect on the economy) and a halt in further increases throughout 2019 signals to investors that Powell may have buckled to Trumps criticism which is a rare occurrence for that independent body. Anyone who believes this President has little influence in the market place is just not paying attention, or in the case of the media just not willing to acknowledge it.

Congratulations...
Quality of life is a pretty important human factor. So when crunching numbers and with people in mind, I'd have to say for that ranking; the state most likely ranks higher than any man or organization can put a number too.
Since the important factor of Quality exists, those people are probably pretty smart over all. There are a lot of other areas that go into a quality of life. Let's see if their chosen senator can help them rise a little higher in other areas. She has 6 years to help with that goal.

With another rate hike coming and a great potential for it to be locked down a while, is reason to buy stocks and more now, before interest rates rise. Mainly for mortgage companies and any other type of financial entity. Best chances to increase profits.
Trump did berate the fallacy of the last increase. I don't think we've ever had a leader with policies that are working in both the globe and the nation in a very long time.
It will be the one I remember most in my life time unless there's a successor with the same sense and better.
Sad but it seems most people aren't looking at policy and results. Rate hikes, additional regulations, and more, can cause economic growth to slow. It's still doing exceptionally well over all with room for more.
Maybe even come up with some other lines to start producing. Can't say for certain one way or the other at this point. Not only are there some losses for GM, but every one knew there was a possibility of the lines leaving any way.
