Personally, I prefer someone around the same age as me as we would be more likely to have similar interests, energy levels, life experiences,, life expectations, etc.
One wanting to go clubbing while the other one wants to go to bingo just won't have a. longterm future

Bingo and cookies it is.

When I say big age difference, it can be relative and not necessarily chronological.
10 years between a 16 year old and a 26 year old is a bigger age gap than between a 50 year old and a 60 year old.
Mental age can make a big difference, which is why some people are considered vulnerable.
If two people are equals in a partnership, then age is somewhat irrelevant, but age can impact upon equality.
........just as in others, best calculated relationships.
My last boyfriend was 20 years my junior & we got on splendidly because he was mentally mature.
It’s just a personal preference for someone to date much older or much younger.
It didn’t work for me, dating much younger, however. I found I had less in common with them. I personally prefer men around my own age.
Up to you. Whatever spins ya wheels.
