These are going to be very hard holidays for Grace's family. Very sad indeed for her and oh so many other deaths that are to come over the holidays.

Nice to see a country apologize so profusely as if it is their fault. It will be interesting to hear why this man did it? Insanity?

Yes very sad indeed. I soooo pleased to hear government apologize---they had not done anything but i think they felt so bad that it happened on their patch. Very nice gesture indeed. Good to see some governments with genuine compasion.

Being an Ex Pat N Z .er living in Aus .. I feel so sad that all this stuff still goes on.. capital punishment should still abound for these types of crimes... The Good book says ...." an eye for an eye " why do we tolerate it .. gets jail and the Taxpayer pays to keep him there ... till some idiot paroles him .... in my growing up years of Capital punishment there ....it was hardly ever heard of ... so sad and angry to read this..... sad flower very mad
