Does God Exist?
For me a big yes. As a believer may I greet everyone a very Merry Christmas and peace to all as well.What a fitting time to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, who's teachings are all about being good.
I do know that Atheism (disbelief or lack of belief on the existence of God) and Agnosticism (the existence of God is unknown or unknowable) are also part of humanity. I am not here to disrespect the belief or non thereof of everyone but to share mine and why I do.
I do wish that we can all share our opinions on this topic in a civil and mature way. I am lucky I live in a country that protects this right, the right to believe or not believe. In your country, do you have a choice?

I will like to go to Austria just to visit them structures. The one in Mont San Michelle Abby is so unbelievable.
Westminster Abbey of England is one I can remember very well to be so beautiful.
Now let us point this out as a little child. or even adult for that matter, is it easier for you to conceive and prove that there is nothing that starts all this? And if so how? No one has truly made this question answered with either scientific or even verbatim argument that makes sense.
For me it is easier to take out the burden of proof by simply saying and admitting to myself that yes, there has to be one who is so super intelligent out there that made it all possible.

I know for a fact that this world as we know on this planet will end, when I am not so sure.
But check this out, if in fact this planet of ours is about billions of years old as scientists continue to investigate and get more and more enthusiastic in their compelling research to prove it is, then imagine this. We are not the first species and or the first people accounted for isn't it?
While we know, (based on our readings of documents) that there were several generations if not different civilizations of man that inhabited this place (Pyramids for instance, know found blue print on how it is built) then what happened to them>
Now it is my own personal assumption that indeed, there were many advanced Civilized world that were many times existed but because just like us now, they have attained such an incredible technology, I think with combination of both greed and power as the main cause, they vanish those civilization.
Fast forward it to our current technology, we can now, with a milisecond speed, with the latest nuke, can vanish this earth.

Maybe both. Nature and Science had always been working side by side in discovery and progressive development. Yes we can travel other space, maybe not in my lifetime but soon. No I don't think we will only the ones that can travel on another planets. There are more evidence pointing out to the possibility of other species (aliens) from another planer. With the new telescope, scientists are discovering more planets out there that can sustain life, pretty much if not better than ours.
Maybe not all, like the agnostics and the Atheists (you for instance) by definition both of these two, don't bother acknowledging the presence of God. Majority of those in religion, if not all of them, do accept (with or without evidence) that there is God.

I didn't get word when you went to VA. That's about 180 miles from here though. Kind of a long car ride both ways just for a cup of coffee. :)
My grandson is having a great time building them. He got so many gifts during Christmas and into it big time. He doesn't even want to place any games on the computers anymore even as my daughter allows him few minutes when he is good in school. He is into them Legos..
