Blizzard Warning

I just seen the forecast for my area and we are going to get a dump of snow. For anyone unsure, a blizzard means heavy snow and high winds thats sustained for a certain amount of time. May lose the power so I'm getting my interneting done now lol.

This is the start of the time of year when the snow really starts here, over the next 2 - 3 months will be active weatherwise. That means lots of shoveling uh oh

Hope you stay safe and warm. Most are running their A/C down here in FL as we are having beach weather for the next many days. There is a cold front behind it but for us that means a light jacket.
I envy you so much Unfazed, I am freezing here. The floor tends to be cold here as the crawl space beneath is not heated.

Trade places for a week? batting laugh
Hey, T, here on the Maine coast, we often have milder days during winter. when it's above 40 F,
and roads aren't icy, some of us use our Bikes. Got the old vintage Gold Wing 1100 out yesterday and today. But tonight, below 10 degrees. Car weather.
Keep warm and it will eventually melt.
Its heavy sweatpants/insulated slipper weather at the moment here but your right, it will eventually melt wave
Funny and we have a fire ban and heat wave

wow
No fire ban here, snow and ice is the order these days. uh oh
Hello Track wave I was noticing 0n the National weather service your region is sure getting walloped with bad weatherdoh The bad weather sure does make it scary for walking and drivingdoh We get some COLD , Wild weather out here, but nothing compared to what you re getting. You take care there Bud
Brrrrrrrrrrr......

Take care, Track!
It typically only snows down to about -7, any lower and the air is too cold to hold the moisture needed, hence why it snows a lot in Newfoundland compared to the colder parts of Canada. You probably get most of your snow in the mid/late fall/early winter before the hard cold takes over.
Back again, wave You pretty much called it. Two days ago we were under a severe cold warning, doh , yesterday was minus 2 celceus, with lite snow , turning into freezing rain, ( sure made for some scary driving conditions)
