I responded to a casting call!
When I say responded, I really mean that I was contacted about being an extra in a new drama series here in Denmark.It's a 10 episode prime time drama series, and I am going to be in three scenes. One where I am a passer by on a street, one where I am business like, and one where I am a homeless person.
It's gonna be extremely exciting, and I cannot wait to explore this new acting world. Granted, an extra isn't the same as being an actor, but it's a step inside. I have no lines, though, so it's purely a background role. But it's gonna be exciting none the less!
I am paid a gift certificate worth $30, but it's not the pay that makes me want to do it.
Who knows, maybe this job as an extra will result in more roles as an extra. I know some people make a living off it, so we'll see!

The payment is miniscule though. You'll probably have to take a few days off your regular job for it. There could be lots of takes just for a few seconds of footage.
