Do Boredom increase with Age?

You feel that you have learned most of what you wanted to, and what does the future hold now? Do you stagnate? Do you still have the inclination to learn? Do you now have to invent new ways to keep your mind and body satisfied?

Not me S.

I'm more active and find things more interesting as my age increases.

I'm more into the overdrive of traveling, indulging on many different activities and seems like I don't have enough time. No ma'am, boredom doesn't exist in my world.

CS, omg...what a volatile world and does my fix is set. hug
Lindsy, From what I have seen most people after a certain age, which varies greatly per the person applicable, will invent, for them, new ways to keep themselves busy. Most will travel, as they never had time before working, but other than that they go into boating, selling houses, doing everything they never had the time for before. This appears to be like a new life for them. They are almost too scared to become bored?
I haven't come across boredom since I've retired. I have slowed my pace a bit, stopping to smell my roses but I keep finding things or activities to do. Some of the new activities surprises me because my age caught up with me and I can't do all that I thought I could as well. But boredom...not at all.
Thank you for that vote of confidence Fay, it makes me feel a lot more positive.
S yep. Although fear isn't in my vocabulary either.

Faywave same here. But excitement comes with a lot of unexpected rewards, like yesterday in the blog world. Wheeew what a day with some pathetic sickos. Lol...I feet sorry for them, wanting and desiring for moi to disappear. No sir, I'm indomitable and formidable. I'm here whether they (haters) like it or not. Lol..

Anyways ladies, get back with you later. teddybear
Lindsy, let's face it "You're a breath of very fresh air". Such a positive spirit!
I am learning every day of my life and far from getting bored. On the contrary, I now have more time to do and enjoy the things I love... and be creative. yay
The older I get the more I drool
Bn. You seriously need to grow up!
Hi Smiley...no boredom or stagnation here. Everyday is a never-ending learn new music and songs, practice, get them in my head, continue learing Spanish, running, cycling, learning new cooking to increase my menu...reading, and so on and so on...

That’s why I am not stagnating here on cs so much these days banana grin
Well Robby, that sounds really promising to me. You just don't seem to find a moment to be bored! That's Great!!!
Smiley...haha..maybe other people get bored listening to me...lol
Robby, there are all different types in the world. Some will like you and some hate you, and then there is the middle too!
Boredom.....what is that.....I have done almost all in the ordinary life, but when I realized the non ordinary side, I had to admit, that ordinary life is only a drop in the ocean of non ordinary life......so I had to face the fact, that as I am hungry for knowledge, there are completely too many things I want to dig in, but to my disappointment there are only 24 hours in the day availabledoh
Bek, I must say that I have fully indulged myself into my studies, from just after school, and I'm still going strong. I have the most curious mind. I just want to know everything, so that comes retirement studies won't even be considered.
I have great plans, that I hope come true!
