Hungary

Just heard a few days ago that Hungary is encouraging young Hungarian families to have more kids (due to population decline) and with that comes some benefits for the mother as well. Benefits include a $36,000 loan which is cancelled after a certain period of time etc. I think after the fourth baby is born the remainder debt is cancelled....confused
I truly don't know if this is true but would like to find out if anyone on CS might confirm this dunno

Population decline is a massive problem and the main reason governments have, with varying degrees of enthusiasm, been accepting refugees. Perfect world they would like to accept only qualified trained middle-class ones but sometimes they have to just take what floods into the country and hope.

I hadn't heard about the Hungarian system but I see online mothers of 4 children or more will never have to pay income tax for the rest of their lives, and there is also a financial incentive for getting larger cars.

I know quite a large number of women in the UK cheerfully have as many kids as they can, because by the time a single mum has 4 kids she can live comfortably on benefits, certainly more than she could get working. I have heard the system is the same in Australia. dunno

Anglo-Saxons in particularly are a dead race walking - the population has shrunk below recovery level, we are effectively extinct, we just haven't noticed. For any population to grow, a man and woman must produce 3 or more children. To keep population stable, in effect replace themselves, 2 children. The birthrate for AS couples has fallen below one child per couple.

Since governments need people to be able to charge them taxes, countries with a shrinking birth rate are worried.
There will be a shortage of people for the workforce, but instead of using people from the world population which already exists, aka non-Hungarian migrants, he wants Hungarian women to have more children.
All I know, Hungary, is on EU sight
cause Hungary's fascist
Japan, have a shortage of work force
their plans, to bring workers from abroad
Gotta be fake news rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
Nope, Red, the story is being carried by websites which fact-check their stories.

BN, I thought you'd be on the first plane to carry out his wishes to repopulate wink
Can you select a Hungarian filly or are you given the next one in line and made to repopulate?

They look like the Hungarian version of the Cheeky Girls
Whaaaaaaaaaat?? They look alright to me, I mean the Hungarian girls, not the cheeky girlsscold
They accept your apology and would like to forget this episode
Do them twice to make up for my faux pas.
A lot of this is due to governments having borrowed & spent the pension fund doh so they're now all trying to boost numbers to make up the shortfall in taxes very mad

Fay, the mums don't take it that seriously, the kids pretty much raise themselves - and it isn't that expensive in the UK. Schooling is free: the National Health System means all medical except dental is free (and many therefore don't bother with dental) and by the time they are 13 or so they could in theory get pregnant and qualify for their own council homes. Most start their families at around 16. When I first moved to the UK I rented a very cheap ex-council flat and at 43 was full-on granny age, I was so embarrassed not to have my own generations to display that I moved as soon as I could. Well, it was one of the reasons laugh

I'm not sure it is the best way to build a quality population but it is quite popular.

One couple get around £70K a year in benefits to support their 14 children - they live in an 8 bedroom house supplied by the state. The father gave up work 10 years ago when they had 9 children, to help with the family. Average household income in the UK generally is £32K

Not all couples have to be paid to procreate - one couple, from Morecambe, Lancashire, first met when she was just seven years old. They had their first child, Chris, 28 years ago, when Sue was aged only 14. The couple decided to keep the baby as they were both given up for adoption at birth. The couple then moved into their first home together and got married. They are now the biggest family in the UK - Susan is expecting her 21st baby shortly. The only benefits they receive, though, are child benefits totalling around £170 a week - all parents get those.
don't know about H ungry but here was normal to have big families 8 or more no longer the case and most now wait till late in life to have a child so this problem of finding workers for future will happen here as well
Art likes Hungary......

And the women there laugh

hole
Wow.....

Thanks for all the interesting replies.
Personally I think the gov in Hungary cares about its own ( Hungarians ). Isn't that the way it should be?confused
Luke if that's not fake news confused thein yes your right, care starts at home first.thumbs up
Creches this tablet corrects words wrongly creche for kids.grin
Good for Hungary...
Instead of importing cheap labour they encourage the population growth...
Lower taxes are also part of the benefits for the families with more children...
Many families can not afford more kids and it allowed only certain ethnic group to breed but these groups are hardly taking part in the economy of the countries....
It's time the hard working people to be released from the burden of looking after parasites...
That's the way to go....
laugh Sorry Luke, I'm using your blog.

Red, I can assure you I wont lose any sleep over it...laugh Enjoy.

pKrema Hi,
Just curious if you saw those figures on Z's link?

Hi Z,
Wow, those guys are pro breeders??laugh
Luke, I'd be interested in hearing Hungarian women's viewpoint on this.

Will they be considered bad citizens if they don't spend their lifetime breeding at the behest of one leader?

Will contraception rights be removed if they aren't making enough babies to suit him?

It is only since the 1980s that women here were allowed control over the size of their families. It would be a retrograde step if a man were allowed control over women's rights in Hungary again.
He is big into 'Christian Values'. Quite often these values are oppressive to women. Keep them barefoot, pregnant and tied to the kitchen sink.
Molly,
Seems you have your wish...laugh
It sounds like a paid breeding programme roll eyes

laugh
Lukeon, I hope my contribution to your blog doesn't come off as negative in comparing Hungary with Germany of the last century. My intent was to show similarities of ways to insentifise their respective populations to multiply. I also think it is Hungary's own business if they don't want any race mixing. I thought that the EU made a very bad mistake in letting migrants flood their respective countries and it turns out my opinion was spot on. From condemning Hungary from not taking them in to now "secretly" envying them for not allowing it to happen. I feel any country should take care of their own first and foremost.
Hi,
I don't see it in a negative light and I'm sure others don't either.
I tend to agree with your last statement wholeheartedly. handshake
Bump
There's nothing wrong to want to preserve your ethnicity...
It's not about baby booming, it's about staying who you are...
Immigrants bring their families, that's why the population in certain countries is increasing...
But they rarely mix with locals, because they stand up for their own kind...
And let's face it, too many immigrants are not really contributing to you economy, because they are not working at all...
I don't want to live in a melting pot where you are scared to sit in your own backyard...
Well I for one cannot disagree...
Immigrants and illegal immigrants are two different things.

Asylum seeker is different too, they are fleeing bad things.

But if anyone entered your home and expected bed and board grin you would be mad. So saying that no harm in helping SOME people but it has to be done in a legal way. Or how can any country provide, schools, hospitals housing, if they do not know who's in the country.

I read the good Chinese are allowing 2 children now.

I do not know long term if manipulations of peoples will be good dunno
Luke just read a bit about the Hungry policy and seemingly it's been going on since 2015 and figures appear to show a lift first and now evened out to 1.2 children . I did not think things through first off as I thought it an early April fools AND I liked the idea of governments actually looking after there people.

After much thought I believe everyone and country should have a policy of helping less fortunate as long as it's done in legal fashion.

The Chinese controlled birth to one child, now they do not have enough young to look after elderly so now its 2 children.
This controlling of births hmmmmm does not sit easy with Mr.
I need more thinking and research teddybear
If they want the population to expand then the best way will be for them to import water from Africa or China. I'm sure its the water....laugh wine
