Old School Love

Sitting here listening to some old school R&B and thinking about the words to the songs I'm listening too...One song says "if you think your lonely now, wait until tonight" then another says "let me be your angel" and then one more comes on that says "do me baby..."

What happened to old school love like that.....the kind that could be told in a song what you were really feeling inside. The ones that could tell someone you were interested in them or how about those that would say you wanted to be more than just friends. They even had those songs that were perfect for breakups. Yeah, they don't write songs like that any more.

That’s what I want an old school love, one that has passion and fight to it....things are to fast, there’s no time for passion any more and no body wants to fight for the man or woman they love any more, its easier to get a divorce...maybe that’s why I haven’t made that final step yet....I'm not about to get a quick divorce because you don't want to put the work in for it to work out.

Seriously people I consider myself to be a well-rounded woman with many various interests, from great literature too funky dive bars. I can communicate with the VP of my company as easily as I can with that homeless guy on the street. So why is it so hard to find that old school love anymore, am I stuck in the dark ages or something.

I recently placed a few ads here and there on singles sites and I'm wondering will I really meet anyone off of these new age dating scenes...they've taken the place of the bars...and I really want to know will I find the man out there who can stop my heart and turn this beast into a Princess..... I don't think there’s a man out there whose "man" enough to take the job on.........what a shame
