And To Round It All Out..... That Every Galaxy... Would Be Traveling At 1 Billion Miles An Hour

Actually at this time we know this Universe is about 26 billion light years wide, at least. It could be further, but we just can't see past 13 billion light years in any direction, yet. Eventually we may figure out a way to look out further.
Two datum of interest.
Some far, far, far, away galaxies have been observed to be moving in the wrong direction. This implies they had a different point of origin. That implies a 2nd big bang.
Our Universe is not just expanding. Rather instead the expansion is now accelerating. That means something is now pushing the expansion. How and what is unknown.
Maybe the Devil is pushing it?
Man it's in our nature to learn, search and seek, if we never debated anything just lived, it would remind me of a field of sheep matron.

Since those words were first penned (what 5K years ago) there was so much debate about what they meant by firmament. Solid but not solid, not water either.
We thought space was empty vacuum. No. Quantum foam. Now finally we have proof of that. If it can carry a wave or a ripple, it is something more like jelly than empty vacuum.
Now that we know the firmament (condolences to the folk of Sumer who lacked the vocabulary to understand or describe what the Anunakai tried to explain to them) we can ponder the waters. We, the Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Proximi Centuri, etc. are in one body of water. But there is another water, on the other side of the firmament.
Obviously the firmament can be pierced. If you can shake it, you can hole it. The question becomes, should we?
