Seems whilst we've been talking about the return of the ISIS bride this is just the tip of the iceberg wow a tweet from President Trump -
“the caliphate is ready to fall. The United States is asking Britain, France, Germany and other European allies to take back over 800 ISIS fighters that we captured in Syria and put them on trial. “The alternative is not a good one in that we will be forced to release them.”

He then went on to say “The U.S. does not want to watch as these ISIS fighters permeate Europe, which is where they are expected to go. We do so much, and spend so much - Time for others to step up and do the job that they are so capable of doing. We are pulling back after 100% caliphate victory!”

In the west we've got used to putting our rubbish in bins & leaving it to someone else to deal with, looks like we're about to get it back professor

Also in the news Merkel at the Munich Security Conference has defended NATO, shame she's not prepared to pay for it very mad quite happy to leave the cost to the American tax payer whilst she & the EU cobble together an EU army, which no doubt will be big on meeting & low on troops with guns doh
As much as it pains me to agree with Trump, I have to say that, on this occasion, I do. sigh
Harbal, quite so & I'm thinking most will, other than the EU of course who for decades have passed the buck (literally) , they keep talking of a European super state but can't even come up with the money to defend it doh
Can't we put them all on some island, put camera's and call it utopia?
Guantanamo. idea
Hi Zman, a good title for your blog. thumbs up

It's seems the whole world can't get out of one problem before another one comes up. It would be nice to hear some good things and actually something that is working. I am afraid we might never hear much of that. sad flower

Have a good one my friend. cheers
If by some flaw the shoe was on the other foot and the allied soldiers had to be sent back to ISIS, their fate would be sealed in a wink.uh oh
Luke we are human thinkers though.
Len, do you know of such an island dunno would need to surrounded by Shark infested water laugh
Hi zman, yes I have just heard a sky reporter interview her. No_ asked her were her husband was and if she wanted to be with him.

Very sad girl, plenty of ISIS in that camp so maybe she has to speak so. Or she is bringing this to our attention and maybe giving loopholes for seriously bad people dunno

Whatever to our way of thinking she is seriously disturbed.

In all of this baby that could be brought up to be MURDERER like father, or disturbed living in shadow of such a father.
Wen, well I suppose it's good news your troops can finally pull out dancing
Luke, as Red said, tempting as it may be we have to be better than them.
Red, as I gather it the father is also in the camp, what a treacherous family they'd make doh
Z,
True that.
Erik Prince will fill the void I think.dunno
Luke, don't know much about that, but I did read they would maintain an air presence, body bags are difficult things for politicians to deal with, maybe your suggestion is correct.
When somebody are brainwashed enough into one direction, no matter it is terrorism , culture, religion or politics.......it is almost no way back to a clean independent mind.......it is easy to see it in Finland already, when men that have came from other countries, where the culture give the men rights to keep women on the knees and to use them in what ever way they want.........no matter they have an integrating system, where everyone are told to the point about Finnish laws and culture.....it have almost no effect, as men coming from some countries are raping 40 times more than local men, comparing to the amount of people.......and most of the cases are done to under ages.

So getting them back to community life as good members, almost ZERO possibility......and to give them a chance, we are in the same time ignoring good peoples right to a secure their life and in some cases the rights even to live.
Red, I'm not sure, I read it earlier but can't find it now to post a link, but she's had the child, the father is/was Dutch so we don't have to worry about him, but reading what she said in an interview with Sky News I personally think she's still very much a danger to the public, I certainly wouldn't want her as a neighbour doh
Bekard, I agree and have zero confidence in these supposed "experts" who reckon they can be deradicalised doh
Nor would eye zman want her near me, I would feel for baby, and her n
Mental state would disturb me. blues
Wen, she's claiming to have been radicalised by watching videos, were it that easy I'd be an FBI/CTU agent the number of times I've watched 24 rolling on the floor laughing
you almost need a war tribunal for these people.

But i think these people will feel more at home in a muslim country.
Len, I'd be more comfortable knowing they were somewhere they couldn't do any harm, as long as they're locked away don't really care where that is, I hear Mars is quite warm this time of year laugh
Z that was a leeeeeetle further than I had in mind wow laugh but anyone who would genuinely turn a second chance into a productive life should have the chance - anyone who cannot stop themselves causing trouble should get trouble in spades

Do as you would be done by

Be done by as you did

head banger
The first people that went to fight ISIS, Kurds.
The Kurds deserves to have their own real-estate
but Turkey, and Iraq don't think same.
methuzelah, I'll have to take your word on that as I don't know enough about it to form an opinion, been too busy with home affairs doh
You got me wrong. I am saying is, the world saw the attrocities
committed by ISIS, did nothing. Kurds went after them.
And I don't like Trumpee
Europe's chickens...................

are coming home to roost.
If they get treated as POW's with the associated human rights and Sir Clive Stafford Smith is their defence lawyer, I think perhaps it's a very good idea.
Only 20 years (1998) since that law was repealed (i.e. execution for treason) and it is now life imprisonment. In 2004 the EU made it impossible for the UK to reintroduce capital punishment while it is part of the EU.

Oh, but ... no, that's the other blog
methuzelah, I don't think I got you wrong, as I said I don't enough about it to comment is all.
MiguelUknow, roost isn't the word I'd pick, stew fits better in my book laugh
angelteller, that's what 50 years of the EU has done to Europe, put any number of innocent lives at risk rather than violate someones rights doh
Biff, yep serious risk of this blog crossing the other one here laugh
Jac, I'm not following your train of thought there confused but as you mention Guantánamo Bay what's your solution to people so dangerous you can't put them anywhere else dunno
Zman from all I've heard so far, cannot make someone a displaced person doh find an island (it used to be Australia)grin for criminals or displaced people and let them start afresh. If we can have cameras on every corner, well displaced people island could be watched over.

It's all very sad really but what's the solution. In prison these people will just brainwas others. Our prisons are bad enough as it is.

Maybe make prisons like old time work houses, people earn board and lodgings dunno dunno
MiguelUknow, nice to know the UK isn't alone, even if it is only one thumbs up
Misery loves company Z.beer
Wow zman the more stuff uncovered from this and previous governments, wow well it blows my mind. I'm sickened truly.

Only way is up for me venus or somesuch place.blues
Red, I personally think one of the benefits of Brexit is that following the treachery of so many MP's the people are now looking much closer at what the government is/has been up to, and not liking what they're seeing, seems those that drive around in bullet proof limos, with armed guards following them everywhere, are not the least concerned for the safety of the population very mad I'm alright Jack springs to mind.
