After Hildebeest prevailed in the Dem Primaries, some folks claimed she'd won the primary, but he'd won the future.
He may be able to give The Don a good run. Will corporate donor owned Dems allow him to run, or again rig their Superdelegate System against him? Ah - There's the rub!

There are some indications he'll never be IN the '20 primary.
Dems may limit THEIR primary to THEIR party membership, and The Bern is a long standing Independent.
Would they keep him out?
Would they let him in (or win) even if he caved & toed the Party Line?


It's also been noted that Hawaiian Dem Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (I'd rank her Lib'rul, as opposed to Leftarded) may have difficulty getting on stage to debate in the Dem Prez Primaries by limiting it to those who can show they have at least 65,000 confirmed individual donors.
You will recall, 'Surfergirl' resigned as vice-chair of the DNC in '16 to openly support The Bern in the Primaries...


In return for defying Queen Bee Hildy, she received a letter from the DNC questioning her judgement & informing her she'd receive no funding for her '16 race to retain her seat in the House
She prevailed in that race, winning with a remarkable 80% of the vote - including a significant number of crossover 'Publicans. Handsome is as handsome does

BTW - There's a grassroots movement to make sure Surfergirl gets her 65,000 donors.
ANY donation - even $1 - will count, just as long as it's on record that she gets it from an individual donor.

Some maintain a Sanders/Gabbard ticket (whether as Dem nominees or Independent 3rd Party) might be unstoppable.

Beyond that -
I strongly align with her stated positions on veterans' issues & avoiding 'interventionist wars & regime change'.

I may quibble with some of her positions on some issues, but she approaches issues with sound reasoning & I respect her positions.

I'd say i'm a a Lib'rul leaning Libertarian Independent.
I'll look at 'em all.
From what I've seen of Surfergirl (and she makes a surf board look good, too) she could easily close the deal with me.
I'd have no problem pulling a lever FOR her - not merely going with 'the lesser of two evils'.
I find it difficult to imagine that she will not one day be POTUS.

Lest there be any doubt - she's not a Leftard. IMO.
