Track I don't want to comment about your joke but I have a question. I've been looking at your photos and I'm glad to see you aren't as shy as before. I noticed a map on the wall behind you and it reminded me of Bonanza. Do most Americans hang a map on their wall?

The map was my fathers, it shows the local coastline of my part of the province, was used for fishing.

Some people will hang a map if its particularly interesting.

I didn't realize till now how expensive chart maps are. Even though I use an app for sailing I still like to have a paper map on navigation table. Imray maps for each section. Maybe one day I end up hanging my favourite one on the wall.

To get a good chart map, your looking at a decent amount of $. You should have one though, electronics can fail but a map and a compass will take you anywhere. I guess you must have noticed with your electronic maps being not quite on where magnetic north has been drifting. Did you get any updates for your charts?
