Changing my description, sigh
I've described myself as "a few extra pounds" from the start but I could always have stood to lose a stone (that's 14 pounds, or 6 kgs, for the rest of you) but now I've put up a new current picture and damnit who am I kidding. Weight has crept up and a bit more up this winter, another half stone has slid quietly into place, and not even I can see 20 pounds as a few. My bra does not capture everything that drops down my front so I can't go for voluptuous or curvy and I'm seen fat and I'm not that. So many words - plump, portly, chubby, well-padded, pudgy, chunky, stocky, zaftig, corpulent ... don't like any of them.So nothing for it but a bit of fun dieting.
Until we few pounds meet again,
Signed,

Just lift a stone or two and you will be ok.
I like your new hat
As for the extra weight...why bother changing it on your profile?
You could always say this is how you saw yourself last time you looked in the mirror?
Or...this is how your best friend described you?
No..no new man!
And no old one either!
I'm trying to be as cheerful as possible to make up for all the hardship I've been going through lately...
And I'm also trying to avoid all the drama here.
But...not many cheerful blogs...unfortunately!
But...nice to see you here..
You need a partner..full stop!
All for positive thinking...
It's only a temporary setback either way. During the winter we aren't out and about as much. It's only a matter of time before you are back on track.
About to start next brief stage of renovations and repairs, with any luck lifting boxes of patio tiles and 20kg bags of tile adhesive will have me back to a washboard tummy and bulging biceps in no time, very seductive
Ta re the hat - it is the seagrass version of the black one, you know when I ordered it? for the meet in March 2016. It didn't arrive in time which is how you all got treated to the tatty black
I know which activity works the quickest magic for me but it's a vicious circle, you know - when I feel like a lump I haven't got the confidence for a workout partner who would make me into less of a lump
"15 Stone And A Half?"....................................
I shall also buy myself fans, and dance
I have never known why the Brits weigh in stones. In SA we were metric, so I was used to kgs, then I switched to stones and now that's become familiar and frankly in pounds it is more than I find comfortable
That seems to be quite popular at the moment.
But really, I don't think anything as temporary as your weight loss requires a profile change. You will have lost it all again before you know it.
"Not To Step On The Scale"........................
Bestill my beating (jealous) heart
Can I go for 20% Overweight With A Friendly Smile instead?
"I was 28 stone before I tried the Bn 3 times a day pounding for 2 weeks and just look at me now, doing my dream job in Torremolinos" Sandra, 28, Bognor Regis
That´s just one of many testimonials Biff
Fashion, pah! Wear what makes you feel good is what counts
Curvy I believe traditionally consists of overlapping curves and so long as the biggest are in front and on top, they receive no complaints. After half a lifetime of riding horses, by far my best and most popular curve is behind me. Unless I am to walk everywhere backwards and bent gracefully forwards to display its still-effective firm contours, it counts as a bonus and not the main attraction.
