Mud season....

....I'm sure it exists in all it's delightful essence elsewhere. But here in Maine for about a week or two, until the incredible exuberant growth of weeds and grasses, which then cover it over, we deal with lots of mud. We have mud boots, mud walkways, and even mud rooms. Never a mud festival, which is telling. Sort of like the final slap from the end of winter. And Bravo loves to roll around in it, so we have to keep him on the decks till we can brush or spray him off. Yuk.

Mudding is a big thing here.you drive your car hopefully 4 wheel drive and try and manuver in the mud.
I wear my rubber clogs year round. When it's too deep I grab my rubber boots
